Cincinnati Police Department, Ohio’s now-former police chief, Teresa Theetge, is out after just three years leading the department. The move comes after a turbulent tenure, she was previously sued by subordinates over alleged discrimination against male officers and reportedly “begged” to put more officers on the streets during a crime-filled summer. Despite a 35-year career with the department, her time as chief has come to an abrupt end. And many, would say she never was qualified to be the Chief. 👀

⚠️Community Advisory⚠️

Early this morning, Officers attempted to move debris from the roadway near the Federal Detention Center. Several protestors surrounded the officers when they were clearing the roadway.  Officers attempted to leave the area to de-escalate. As they entered the vehicle and begin to drive away, a protestor reached in and sprayed a chemical agent which nearly caused a traffic collision. Officers were able to leave the area safely and call for an ambulance. Both officers were treated and released.  Suspect was subsequently arrested for ADW on Officers a short time later.
