A man’s body washed ashore in Long Beach on Tuesday, April 14, 2026. The body was found near the water’s edge on the Long Beach shoreline. Authorities have not yet identified the man found on the shore in the 1900 block of E. Ocean Boulevard around 11:30 a.m. His age is estimated to be between 30 and 40 years old.
Found between Alamitos Beach and Junipero Beach, near the Pride lifeguard tower.
Police say there are no signs of foul play.

Los Angeles County residents are less satisfied with their quality of life than at any point in more than a decade, according to a report being presented Wednesday at the UCLA Luskin Summit. The 2026 Los Angeles County Quality of Life Index found the overall score dropped to a record low of 52, with six of the nine categories measured reaching their lowest levels on record and eight showing year-over-year declines.

Los Angeles County residents are less satisfied with their quality of life than at any point in more than a decade according to a new UCLA survey.

Among the lowest rated areas in the survey were education, transportation and cost of living.

For all of us living here, we really don’t need a survey or a study to tell us this.

Highest taxes in the country. Worst services. Number one in illiteracy in the country. Number one in homeless veterans. Fraud is out of control. Young people can’t buy a home. Most of us can’t even get homeowners insurance. Gas prices, grocery prices, and electrical bills are highest in the country. Public transportation is unsafe. Roads continue to be a mess.

Do I love Los Angeles - Yes. Do I believe it’s worth fighting for - Yes. It’s my home. It’s my families home. We will continue fighting.

However,

Politicians are supposed to represent US (not money, not a political party) and are supposed to make our lives better not worse. Sadly, most electeds are just there to benefit themselves. A large group, especially in CA, aren’t even good people. So maybe try voting for different people. Just a thought.

BREAKING: California is giving free sex-change procedures to homeless illegal aliens. Our team went into the shelters and discovered that trans migrants are coming into the state for hormones, breast implants, and "bottom surgeries"—all on the taxpayer dime.

We discovered not only that the shelters were housing illegal immigrants but also that they were apparently housing a population of male-to-female “transgender” illegal aliens, who had hoped to obtain “gender-affirming care.” And, to our shock, state and local governments apparently are providing it.

In 2010, SDPD was budgeted for 2,128 sworn officers. Today, it has one of the lowest officer-to-resident ratios among major cities in the United States. This week, SDPD reached a new modern low in staffing, dropping below 1,800 officers. Officers are retiring or leaving for other agencies, and recruitment hampered by low salaries has not kept pace.

Praying for the Anchorage Police K-9 officer who was shot in the line of duty this morning.🙏🏻

Alaska: The Anchorage Police Department is investigating an officer-involved shooting that occurred early this morning, around 3:25 a.m. near 34th Avenue and Bering Street.

Police say the incident began when a stolen vehicle was spotted by its owner at a gas station. The owner followed the vehicle while staying in contact with dispatch, helping officers track its location.

Officers later located the vehicle in a nearby neighborhood, where two individuals exited. One suspect was taken into custody immediately, while the second fled on foot.

During the foot pursuit, police say the suspect turned and fired at officers. Four officers returned fire, striking the suspect.

A police K-9 officer named Kiska was also shot and injured during the incident. The dog received emergency treatment and underwent surgery, including a partial toe amputation.

Officers provided medical aid at the scene before the suspect was transported to a hospital.

The investigation is ongoing, and officials say more information is expected to be released within about a week.

On Monday, DHS employee Lauren Bullis and two other victims were brutally shot and stabbed to death by Olaolukitan Adon Abel, who was NATURALIZED BY THE BIDEN ADMINISTRATION.

Adon Abel's criminal record includes convictions for sexual battery, battery against a police officer, obstruction, and assault with a deadly weapon, vandalism.

NEW: Unconfirmed videos circulating online appear to show a person scaling the exterior of the Las Vegas Sphere — raising concerns that a similar incident may be happening again on the Las Vegas Strip.

This wouldn’t be the first time.

In February 2024, a man identified as Maison DesChamps climbed the 366-foot Sphere during Super Bowl week in a high-profile stunt. He was later arrested after reaching the top, with police reporting over $100,000 in damages to the structure.

Now, with new footage making rounds online, many are questioning: is this another stunt… or just misleading clips resurfacing?
