NEW: The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department says the alleged rape of Lonna Drewes by Eric Swalwell took place in July 2018 in the 900 block of Hammond Street. This comes back to the Montrose Hotel. Campaign finance expert Rob Pyers has flagged a travel expense from Swalwell’s campaign at the time, with FEC records showing “Swalwell for Congress” spent $361 in travel expenses at the Montrose Hotel on July 18th, 2018. Officer Brown was Injured after sustaining an injury in Ferguson during riots on the night of Friday, August 9th, 2024. TJ has been with the Ferguson Police Department since January 24th, 2024. He was also an Officer with St.Louis County Police.

"Andy faced a long and courageous battle with cancer, meeting it with remarkable tenacity and unwavering positivity.

Andy served in many capacities with the Cary Police Department, most notably as the agency’s FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force Officer, a role in which he received numerous accolades for his exemplary service.

Bobby Gene Hayes.

Bobby Gene Hayes, 87 passed away peacefully in Wilmington NC on  March 25, 2026.   Hayes was born April 6, 1938 in Shelby, NC and lived there until he joined the US Army.  Upon returning from Ft. Hood Texas 1961,  he began his law enforcement career in Kings Mountain as a Police Officer.  He went on to serve as Sergeant, Lieutenant, and Captain from 1969 to 1995 and was appointed Chief of Police in 1995.  Following his law enforcement career, he continued his dedication to public service as a City Councilman At-Large from 1997 to 2001.  He was also a member of Cherokee Street Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon for several years.  Hayes remained a resident of Kings Mountain for many years after retirement, until relocating to Wilmington in 2021.

HCSO Releases Celebration of Life Arrangements for Deputy Landon Faulkner

Deputy Landon Faulkner was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and a true public servant, living his life with purpose, compassion, and unwavering dedication to others.

Faulkner's family will receive friends at Abba’s House, 5208 Hixson Pike, on Thursday, April 16, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and on Friday, April 17, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. The Celebration of Life will begin at noon. Interment services will follow at Sequatchie County Memorial Gardens, 5459 West Valley Rd, Dunlap, TN. All law enforcement personnel should check our social media pages for detailed information on parking ahead of Thursday.

In lieu of flowers, monetary donations to support the family may be made through the only authorized GoFundMe accounts, sponsored by Mona Henry or Tennessee Blue Line.
