EXCLUSIVE DHS: ICE ARRESTS CONVICTED RAPIST RELEASED TWICE BY OREGON SANCTUARY POLICIES

A Mexican national, previously convicted of rape and sodomy, is back in custody after being released twice from an Oregon county jail, Ali Bradley reports.

ICE says Cristobal Felipe-Sarmiento was arrested by Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) in Salem on April 9th. He was convicted in 2016 in Marion County for rape and sodomy—And also has a prior DUI conviction.

DHS is now blasting sanctuary policies, warning they can put communities at risk by allowing repeat offenders back on the streets.

Acting Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis saying, "This dangerous criminal illegal alien should NEVER have been in this country in the first place -let alone RELEASED TWICE by sanctuary politicians following convictions for driving under the influence, rape, and sodomy. Oregon sanctuary politicians that continue to release criminal illegal aliens like Cristobal Felipe-Sarmiento into American communities are playing Russian roulette with American lives. The brave men and women of DHS law enforcement are working every day to keep our communities safe by arresting these heinous criminals."

Felipe-Sarmiento entered the United States at an unknown date and time—He is now in ICE custody pending removal proceedings.

Today, justice was served.
A Harris County jury has returned a guilty verdict on capital murder charges in the 2022 shooting death of our brother, HCSO Deputy Darren Almendarez.

Deputy Almendarez was off-duty, leaving the store with his wife, when he courageously confronted three individuals attempting to steal the catalytic converter from his truck. He paid the ultimate price for stepping up to protect what was his—and what belongs to all of us.

To the jury members who listened carefully and delivered this verdict: thank you. Your service helped ensure accountability for a senseless act of violence that took one of our own.

To the prosecutors, detectives, witnesses, and every member of law enforcement and the justice system who worked tirelessly on this case over the past four years—thank you. Your dedication honors Deputy Almendarez and the badge he wore with pride.

Darren, we remember you. We miss you. And today, we stand a little taller knowing your sacrifice was not forgotten.

BREAKING: Leading Democratic Gubernatorial candidate for California Rep. Eric Swalwell is being accused of sexually assaulting a former staffer, multiple times, Anthony Cabassa reports.

The staffer also alleges Rep. Swalwell SnapChatted her a picture of his genitals, seeking nude pictures in return.

"The woman, who no longer worked for Swalwell, said they met for drinks afterward, during which she became so inebriated that she only remembers snippets of the night, including pushing Swalwell away and telling him, "No", while he allegedly forced himself on her."

This was taken in February 2006. Our son just graduated from recruit school. I was just finishing up my 28 year career with the Oregon State Police. The last time I wore the Class A uniform. My wife brought a photo in of my deceased father, Ben. She asked the photographer if he could add dad to the photo . He did a great job. It’s like he’s looking down on us. Cancer took him at age 51 just before he was able to retire in 1984 . Brian is wearing his grandpa‘s Oregon State police ring and badge 135. My dad wore it for 10 years before he was promoted. I wore it for 20 years before I was promoted. It was issued to my dad in 1960. A lot of blue blood in our family.💙
