Kansas: A Salina police officer was hospitalized and a man was arrested for DUI following a three-vehicle crash Sunday night in Salina. The crash happened at about 8:40 p.m. at Spruce Street or College Avenue just south of South Street.

The Kansas Highway Patrol, investigating the crash, reported that a 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup, driven by Sean Schuff, of Salina, was traveling north on College Avenue and turning left onto Spruce Street when Schuff failed the yield the right of way to a 2024 For Explorer, confirmed to have been a Salina police vehicle.

The patrol vehicle hit the pickup and during the collision, the KHP reported that a tire came off of the truck and hit a third vehicle.

The report said that Matthew Pfannenstiel, a Salina police officer, was taken to Salina Regional Medical Center with a “suspected minor injury.”

The National Trust for Historic Preservation sues me for a Ballroom that is under budget, ahead of schedule, being built at no cost to the Taxpayer, and will be the finest Building of its kind anywhere in the World. I then get sued by them over the renovation of the dilapidated and structurally unsound former Kennedy Center, now, The Trump Kennedy Center (A show of Bipartisan Unity, a Republican and Democrat President!), where all I am doing is fixing, cleaning, running, and “sprucing up” a terribly maintained, for many years, Building, but a Building of potentially great importance. Yet, The National Trust for Historic Preservation, a Radical Left Group of Lunatics whose funding was stopped by Congress in 2005, is not suing the Federal Reserve for a Building which has been decimated and destroyed, inside and out, by an incompetent and possibly corrupt Fed Chairman. The once magnificent Building is BILLIONS over budget, may never be completed, and may never open. All of the beautiful walls inside have been ripped down, never to be built again, but the National “Trust” for Historic Preservation never did anything about it! Or, have they sued on Governor Gavin Newscum’s “RAILROAD TO NOWHERE” in California that is BILLIONS over Budget and, probably, will never open or be used. So, the White House Ballroom, and The Trump Kennedy Center, which are under budget, ahead of schedule, and will be among the most magnificent Buildings of their kind anywhere in the World, gets sued by a group that was cut off by Government years ago, but all of the many DISASTERS in our Country are left alone to die. Ohio: A teen is facing charges for a crash that killed an off-duty police officer and injured another in Jackson County, Ohio, last year.

According to the office of Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost, the crash took place on Aug. 30, 2025, in Jackson.

Around 2 a.m., a car driven by a 17-year-old male rear-ended a gold cart traveling southbound on South Pennsylvania Avenue near the intersection of Sixth Street. The golf cart was sent off the left side of the road and into a tree, the Ohio State Highway Patrol said.

One of the gold cart passengers was off-duty Wellston Police Officer Matthew Juniper, 25, of Wellston, who received fatal injuries. The cart driver, fellow Wellston Police Officer Brant Derrow, 40, was seriously injured.

Two firefighters have been injured as a result of an active forest fire in Floyd County, according to Team Kentucky’s Division of Forestry.

The division said one individual was treated and released from an area hospital, while the other was life-flighted to Cincinnati to be treated for injuries.

The firefighters were injured when a shift in the fire pattern occurred, the division said.

The Team Kentucky Division of Forestry is currently on the scene of the forest fire, and they said it is within a 95-acre site.

Area residents are not currently at risk, according to the Division of Forestry.
