Praying for Duson Police Sgt. Calvin Francis who was seriously injured in the line of duty earlier today.

Louisiana: Duson Police Sgt. Calvin Francis was injured Tuesday when a vehicle struck his marked patrol unit on Interstate 10 East near mile marker 153, authorities said.
Police said a vehicle traveling alongside Francis’ cruiser rammed the right side, forcing him into a concrete wall near the base of the Mississippi River bridge.
Francis was taken to Baton Rouge General Hospital, where he is in stable condition.

Indiana: A Danville police officer was injured during a St. Patrick’s Day 5K on Tuesday night.
According to a spokesperson for the Danville Metropolitan Police Department, a civilian ran over an officer’s foot with a vehicle around 6 p.m. The officer was directing traffic at the intersection Sycamore Lane and East Columbia Street during the 5K.
DMPD indicated that the officer “sustained very minor injuries to a lower extremity” during the incident. The officer received medical attention as a precaution after t he incident. Please join us in sending prayers and, or positive thoughts for a full recovery🙏🏻

Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) Lodge #73 is hosting the "Too Easy" Officer Sam Taylor Golf Scramble on June 20, 2026, at the Boonville Country Club. The event aims to raise funds for the ongoing recovery of Evansville Police Department Officer Samuel Taylor, who was critically injured in the line of duty last year.
Taylor was shot in September 2025 while responding to a report of a stolen vehicle.
