ICYMI: American Nathan Martin wins LA Marathon in race's closest finish ever

American Nathan Martin chased down a fading Michael Kamau of Kenya to win the Los Angeles Marathon men's race by -00:01​, in what officials called the closest finish the event has ever seen.

Deputies from the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station were out early this morning as the Los Angeles Marathon passed through the city.

Why did the chicken cross the road? 🐓A feral rooster in Honolulu took his chances and narrowly avoided disaster as he moseyed across a busy road, footage captured by a baffled onlooker shows. The rooster successfully dodged passing cars as he safely made it to the other side.

We extend our deepest condolences to the family, friends, and fellow troopers of Corporal Timothy O'Connor of the Pennsylvania State Police.

Pennsylvania State Police Corporal Timothy O'Connor was shot and killed Sunday night (3/8/26) during a traffic stop in West Caln Township, Chester County, PA.

Cpl. O'Connor responded to a call for an erratic driver around 8:15 p.m. and pulled the vehicle over near Compass and Michael roads. Within seconds of approaching the stopped vehicle, the driver opened fire, killing O'Connor at the scene. The driver then exited the vehicle and fatally shot himself.

O'Connor was a 15-year veteran of the Pennsylvania State Police. He leaves behind a wife and young daughter.
