There appears to be light at the end of the negotiations tunnel for General Motors and United Auto Workers two weeks into the union's nationwide strike. A new labor deal could be signed by both parties as soon as this weekend, according to ABC News, after talks reached a pivotal point two days ago. 'All unsettled proposals are now at the Main Table and have been presented to General Motors, and we are awaiting their response,' UAW vice president Terry Dittes wrote in a union members update on Wednesday.
