Ohio: On February 28, 2026, at approximately 6:15 p.m., the Summit County Sheriff’s Office responded to assist another agency locate a semi-truck. The truck had recently fled from officers in another jurisdiction, injuring one of the officers in the process.
The truck was located a short time later on East Market Street in the city of Akron. Deputies along with officers from other jurisdictions attempted to make contact with the driver of the truck. The suspect fled westbound on East Market Street and struck multiple cruisers.
As the suspect neared the intersection of East Market Street and Innovation Way, the suspect driver struck another cruiser and occupied civilian vehicles. Subsequently, a sheriff’s deputy fired his duty weapon. The suspect was transported to a local hospital with what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries.

Garrett M. Temple, a respected Marine veteran and St. Louis County police officer, passed away on February 21, 2026, at age 45.

He served in the U.S. Marine Corps since 1999, deploying to Afghanistan and Iraq, then continued with the Missouri National Guard. For years he worked in the Tactical Operations Unit and served on the St. Louis County Police Association Executive Board.

A colleague remembered him clearly: "1SG Temple was a outstanding leader an mentor to his Soldiers."

A Dallas Texas Police officer was injured in a hit-and-run crash early Monday that shut down part of Interstate 35E for several hours, authorities say.

"On March 2, 2026, at approximately 12:46 a.m., officers responded to an assist officer call in the 2900 block of North Stemmons Freeway northbound. The assist call was made after a motorcycle officer on duty was involved in a motor vehicle accident.

Preliminary information indicates the officer was struck from behind by an unidentified vehicle, causing him to be thrown from his motorcycle. A second vehicle then collided with the motorcycle after the officer had been thrown from his motorcycle.

Dallas Fire-Rescue transported the officer to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries."

An off-duty LAPD officer was involved in a crash that prompted a temporary closure of the eastbound lanes of the 10 Freeway in West Covina early Monday morning.

A Sudbury MA Police dispatcher suffered minor injuries over the weekend while serving with the United States Navy during the U.S.-Israeli war on Iran. The dispatcher's father said he heard from his son, but hasn't been told many details.

The police dispatcher, who now wishes to remain anonymous, is a 22-year-old who's serving in the Navy Reserve. He was at a base in the United Arab Emirates when a missile from Iran struck nearby.

"Our thoughts and prayers are with our military personnel in harms way," Sudbury police posted on social media. "He and his colleagues experienced several missile impacts resulting in minor injuries they are mending. Please keep our military personnel in your thoughts!"🙏🏻

On Saturday, President Trump released a statement laying out clear objectives to the American people for Operation Epic Fury.

Stop them from making and using IEDs or roadside bombs, which have gravely wounded and killed thousands and thousands of people, including many Americans.

Guarantee that Iran can NEVER obtain a nuclear weapon.

Preventing this radical regime and its terrorist leaders from threatening America and our core national security interests is a clear-eyed and necessary objective.

Killing terrorists is good for America. 49 of the most senior Iranian regime leaders – including Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei – have already been wiped off the face of the Earth so far in the opening strikes of Operation Epic Fury.

Finally, while Operation Midnight Hammer did obliterate Iran’s major nuclear sites, the regime was fully committed to rebuilding their nuclear program, and they REFUSED to make a deal, despite months of extensive talks and good faith efforts by President Trump’s top negotiators.

Simply put, the terrorist Iranian regime would not say yes to peace.

For 47 years, the Iranian regime has actively and intentionally facilitated the killing of Americans while chanting “death to America” and funding other bloodthirsty terrorists seeking to destroy the United States and all of Western Civilization. Prior American leaders were too weak and cowardly to do anything about it. Now, President Donald J. Trump is correcting decades of cowardice and holding those responsible for the deaths of Americans accountable.

Their brutal attacks and threats will finally end under President Trump.

ICYMI: One person is dead and two others were wounded during a shooting Sunday in Downtown Long Beach near the grand opening celebration for Marathon Burger on Pine Avenue.

Long Beach Fire Department personnel transported three victims from a nearby parking garage to a local hospital, one in critical and two in stable condition, according to a department spokesperson.

One of the victims later died at the hospital, according to the LBPD.

"Founded by Samiel “Blacc Sam” Asghedom, brother of the late rapper and activist Nipsey Hussle, Marathon Burger’s Long Beach restaurant is the company’s fourth location, joining West Hollywood, Venice and Canoga Park. The Long Beach opening drew hundreds to Pine Avenue, including rappers Snoop Dogg and YG.

Following the ribbon-cutting ceremony featuring Mayor Rex Richardson, the celebration continued. With people anxiously waiting for their chance to try the burgers, shots rang out, with video footage from the scene showing onlookers fleeing."
