Yesterday, members of the Lincoln County MO Sheriff’s Office attended funeral services for Deputy Gabriel Ramirez and Deputy Michael Hislope of the Christian County Sheriff’s Office. Detectives Rodgers and Al-Besharat were present to represent our agency and pay tribute to two deputies who gave their lives in the line of duty.

Deputies Ramirez and Hislope served their community with courage and selflessness, making the ultimate sacrifice while protecting others. In times like these, the law enforcement community comes together as one family — offering strength, support, and solidarity to those who are grieving. No department faces such loss alone.

We offer our heartfelt condolences to the Christian County Sheriff’s Office, the families of Deputy Ramirez and Deputy Hislope, and everyone affected by this devastating loss. Their dedication, bravery, and commitment to service will always be remembered.

A suspect is down after shots were reportedly fired by Virginia State Police.

At least FOUR victims have been stabbed on the Beltway; two are reported in critical condition.

Fairfax County Police are assisting VSP Troopers with shutting down the Outerloop of the Beltway now.

North Carolina State Highway Patrol is deeply saddened to announce the line-of-duty death of Master Trooper Steven J. Perry in Durham County on March 1, 2026.

A North Carolina state trooper was killed Sunday in a wrong-way crash on the Durham Freeway.

The North Carolina State Highway Patrol said Master Trooper Steven J. Perry, 30, was on duty when his Dodge Charger was hit head-on by a wrong-way driver.

"Trooper Perry was a member of the 148th Basic Patrol School and has served Durham County throughout his nearly 7-year career. During this difficult time, our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends and fellow troopers who had the privilege of serving alongside him. We ask that you keep the entirety of his family and our Patrol Family in your thoughts."

Georgia: A retired Fulton County Sheriff’s deputy was hit by a vehicle Sunday morning, according to the sheriff’s office.

The incident happened in downtown Atlanta near the intersections of Ted Turner Drive and Mitchell Street. The officer was working a traffic detail in connection with the Publix Atlanta Marathon.

The retired deputy, who has not been identified, is alert, conscious and breathing, according to the sheriff’s office. He was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
