A Baltimore police
officer suffered an injured ankle after three teenagers in a stolen car struck him before hitting his cruiser and another vehicle as they fled the scene.

According to police, a Baltimore officer on patrol, William Cole, responded On Sunday at 12:05 a.m. to a call about armed individuals breaking into the caller’s home on the 800 block of West Lombard Street.
When Cole arrived, he saw a Kia sedan with multiple people in it. The driver put the vehicle into reverse and struck a parked car, police said in a Thursday news release.

The Kia reversed again and struck Cole, injuring his ankle, police said. Cole fired his weapon one time at the Kia before it fled in reverse, striking Cole’s patrol vehicle and another vehicle.

Please join us in sending prayers and, or positive thoughts for the officer's recoveryπŸ™πŸ»

1…2….3…. Yeah… we stopped counting. πŸ˜…

But here’s the good news!  Chain control has officially been lifted on I-80 over Donner Summit.

The freeway is OPEN. The storm has moved on. Now let’s not go back at one with the spin-outs.

In Other News: The Los Angeles Department of Transportation has pulled public service announcement videos asking riders to refrain from pooping on city buses.

The videos were part of their PSA campaign called β€œIf you see something, do something about it.” The campaign featured six different videos urging riders to report disturbing behavior, including smoking, drinking, fare evasion, loud music and, yes, pooping.

In Oakland, California, no one is above being targeted by the criminals β€” not even the mayor. A thief reportedly stole Mayor Barbara Lee’s car keys from her office and, two days later, returned to steal the car. The mayor’s abandoned black SUV was later discovered nearby in Vallejo, California. The Oakland Police Department has yet to locate the thief. Apparently, Oakland has the highest auto theft rate in the country, with 9,914 motor vehicle thefts in 2024, according to FBI data. Its overall crime rate was also four times the national average in 2024, likely due to the fact that the Oakland Police Department is suffering from a severe shortage of officers. Even the Soros-backed Oakland DA wasn’t exempt from brazen burglars who broke her SUV window to steal her laptop. Ironically, though, she claims she β€œdoesn’t feel unsafe” living there.

NEW: A 26-year-old undocumented immigrant from Venezuela is facing an attempted first-degree premeditated murder charge after Martin County deputies say he attacked a woman on Stuart Beach and repeatedly held her head underwater, believing he had killed her.

Martin County Sheriff John Budensiek identified the suspect as Said Alexander Hernandez-Gonzalez, a Port St. Lucie resident whose work visa expired and who is now in the country illegally.

β€œThis is an extremely alarming case,” Budensiek said. β€œRandom acts of violence like this are some of the most difficult crimes to solve β€” and that’s exactly what this was.”

According to the Martin County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded around 11 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 12, to a disturbance call at Stuart Beach, located at 889 NE Ocean Boulevard.

Budensiek said the victim had gone to the beach alone earlier that evening β€œto clear her head” and was walking north along the shoreline toward the Tiger Shores area while on the phone with her sister when the attack happened.

πŸ’™ A MIRACLE IN MOTION β€” DEPUTY WALKS OUT OF THE HOSPITAL πŸ’™
Today, we pause to give thanks β€” and to honor true courage.

After being shot multiple times in the line of duty, a 24-year-old sheriff’s deputy who spent days fighting for his life has done the unthinkable: he walked out of the hospital. What began as a terrifying moment for his family, fellow deputies, and community has become a powerful testimony of strength, faith, and resilience.

Behind the badge is a young man who ran toward danger to protect others. He endured critical injuries, surgery, and uncertainty β€” and he refused to give up. His survival is nothing short of a miracle, and a sobering reminder of the risks law enforcement officers face every single day when they put on the uniform.
We also owe profound gratitude to the hospital staff β€” doctors, nurses, surgeons, and caregivers β€” whose skill, dedication, and tireless care helped save this deputy’s life. Their compassion and expertise made hope possible when the odds were stacked high.

The road to recovery continues, but today represents hope, strength, and a second chance at life. We stand with this deputy, his family, his agency, and every member of the Blue Family who felt this fight personally.

Heroes walk among us β€” some in uniform, some in scrubs β€” and today, we honor them all. πŸ’™πŸ™
