Alabama: According to Columbiana Police, officers responded a welfare check at the Columbiana Villas Saturday afternoon.

Police say during the welfare check, the suspect fired and officers and officers returned fire. One officer was struck and was taken to a local hospital but has since been released. The other officer did not suffer any major injuries.
Late Saturday afternoon, police say the suspect was taken into custody.

Brian was sworn in as a Deputy Sheriff in 2014 and prided himself in serving the community of West Hollywood. Known by his friends and colleagues for his humility and commitment to his profession, Brian’s presence will be deeply missed. 
 
Brian is survived by his wife, parents, and siblings.

Last night, a man was shot multiple times in the jaw and neck at a street takeover on 18th and Broadway. I’m posting this to bring raw awareness. I stopped covering takeovers because of how idiotic and reckless people are. From drivers intentionally hitting spectators, people throwing fireworks into occupied cars, groups robbing people and smashing spectators windows, looting businesses, to shootings like this one. Prayers for the three Los Angeles Police officers who were injured in the line of duty overnight.🙏🏻

Three Los Angeles Police Department officers were hospitalized late Saturday night after their patrol cars collided during a pursuit with a stolen vehicle suspect near Reseda.

The crash happened at around 10:25 p.m. in the 8300 block of N. Wilbur Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. Upon arrival, firefighters found three victims suffering from injuries of varying severity.

Paramedics said that a 33-year-old man and a 30-year-old man were both hospitalized in critical condition. A third person, also a 33-year-old man, was hospitalized in fair condition. All three men were in stable condition by 1:12 a.m., the LAPD confirmed.

Both units were pursuing a stolen vehicle when the collision occurred.
