Leadership Lesson for the day (if you care to learn):
βTruth, Justice, and the American Way.β
This phrase was never meant to be comforting. In the earliest Superman comic books, it was a call to be courageous. Truth demanded exposure and justice demanded consequence. The American way demanded the courage to face both, even when its reflection was ugly.
That ugly truth is what we keep avoiding.
The Epstein revelations, names, networks, enablers, and the quiet protection of the powerful have exposed more than crimes. They expose a culture that elevated privilege over principle and secrecy over accountability. This is grotesque. It mocks ordinary citizens who are told to live by rules the elite never intended to follow.
Yet, the response has been indifference or deflection. Yes, it is terrible, but what about the other side?
Truth is not negotiable.
Truth strips humanity bare. It tears away the masks we wear, political, religious, and cultural, and leaves us exposed. That is why so many claim to want truth, but only in theory. In practice, truth threatens alliances, shatters narratives, and demands moral courage that most institutions and many βleadersβ cannot muster.
Yes, we are all sinners. But there is a gulf between human weakness and unconscionable evil. Between private failure and organized exploitation protected by wealth and power. To equate the two is moral bankruptcy.
When the powerful evade accountability, they define the nation. Their impunity teaches that morality is optional if you are untouchable.
That is not the American way.
A society that claims Christianity but refuses accountability is performing faith, not practicing it. Scripture without justice is decoration, faith without consequence is theater, patriotism without truth is propaganda.
No president, no movement, no agenda can redeem a culture that refuses to confront moral rot at the top. You cannot build a moral future on selective blindness.
This era will be remembered not as a period of awakening, but as a period of darkness, when truth was visible yet deliberately ignored because it was inconvenient.
Superman never stood for comfort. He stood for confrontation. Power should protect the most vulnerable, not exploit them. Justice should be impartial to status. Truth should matter even when it implicates the powerful.
The real question is whether we are willing to be a nation that can handle the truth. If we cannot, we have already chosen what will define us.
It will not be enlightenment. It will be exposure and darkness.
I choose a better future, one filled with a positive vision for our children, our families, our communities and our country.
Yes, the truth hurts, but it also heals.

This Department of Justice stands for LIFE. Yesterday, we secured a key legal win for the pro-life cause.
Following strong arguments from our DOJCivil attorneys, Planned Parenthood DROPPED its own lawsuit against pro-life provisions of the One Big Beautiful Bill. Specifically, Planned Parenthood took issue with the fact that OBBB restricts federal Medicare funding for some major abortion providers.
Our legal team did an incredible job presenting the facts. Planned Parenthood might look for another path to pursue this meritless litigation, but they wonβt find a viable one.
We will continue fighting and winning in court to defend President Trumpβs agenda β and we will continue fighting for life.
Attorney General Pamela Bondi

A bulletproof vest saved a Dallas police officer's life Monday night during an officer-involved shooting that left two other people wounded, officials said.
Texas: On February 2, 2026, at approximately 8:41 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a disturbance call in the 4300 block of Woodhollow Drive regarding an armed suspect threatening individuals with a firearm. Upon entering the residence at this address, officers discovered the suspect inside a bathroom with another person. As officers issued verbal commands, witnesses alerted them that the suspect was armed. During the confrontation, shots were fired, resulting in injuries to two individuals who were subsequently transported to a local hospital for treatment. Additionally, one officer suffered an injury from a bullet that struck his vest and was taken to the hospital as a precautionary measure. The investigation into the incident is ongoing, with further updates anticipated in the coming days.

UPDATE: Sheriff Kevin McMahill, alongside the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Clark County Fire Department, provided a detailed update regarding the complex investigation at a residence on Sugar Springs Drive in northeast Las Vegas near Washington and Hollywood.
A little over a week ago, LVMPD received information that laboratory equipment and potentially hazardous materials may have been stored inside the home. As investigators looked deeper, they learned the property owner was connected to a 2023 illegal biological laboratory investigation in Reedley, California.
In that California case, investigators reportedly discovered materials possibly associated with infectious diseases including hepatitis, COVID-19, HIV, malaria, and other potentially dangerous pathogens.
While it was unknown whether similar materials were present at the Las Vegas residence, the possibility required LVMPD and partner agencies to proceed with extreme caution.
Because of those concerns, LVMPDβs Counterterrorism Section and ARMOR Task Force, in partnership with the FBI and regional fire agencies, initiated a joint investigation and extensive operational planning to address the potential risk safely.
Early Saturday morning at 5:51 a.m., LVMPD SWAT served the search warrant. Three individuals renting rooms inside the home were safely removed and are not involved in the investigation.
Investigators focused on a locked garage believed to contain the materials. To minimize risk, LVMPD deployed drones for aerial awareness and a tactical robot to clear the interior and conduct air sampling before personnel entered.
Once safe to proceed, the ARMOR team entered wearing protective equipment. Investigators observed refrigerators, a freezer, laboratory-type equipment, and numerous containers holding unknown liquid substances.
Due to the unknown nature of the materials, the operation required multiple controlled entries, strict safety protocols, and extensive decontamination procedures. Evidence collection continued through Sunday and concluded at approximately 6:30 p.m. The materials were transported to a Southern Nevada Health District facility for secure storage and are now being transferred to an FBI laboratory for testing.
Remediation of the residence was completed early this morning. Final checks confirmed the location is safe.
One suspect connected to the property owner remains in federal custody related to the Reedley investigation. LVMPD also arrested 55-year-old Ori Solomon on a charge of disposing and discharging hazardous waste.
This operation involved a coordinated response from numerous local, state, and federal partners. Sheriff McMahill emphasized that modern technology, including drones, robotics, and real-time command monitoring, played a critical role in protecting first responders while allowing the operation to move quickly and safely.
We thank the residents of the neighborhood for their patience and cooperation throughout the weekend.
Additional confirmed information will be released as it becomes available.
