The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department is heartbroken by the passing of Sergeant Grant Ward, who was called home on February 1, 2026, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

He passed peacefully, surrounded by his wife, two daughters, and his loving family.

Even during the most difficult treatments, Grant’s spirit never wavered. He faced each challenge with faith and determination, reminding us all that laughter can bring light to even the darkest days.

Rest Easy Brother. Prayers for his family of blue and blood.🙏🏻

NEW: ICE announces the arrests of 650 illegal aliens in West Virginia as part of an operation with cooperation from local law enforcement via the 287(g) program. Per ICE, those arrested have convictions for child sex abuse, drug possession and endangering the welfare of children.

We just got the photo of Gwinnett County police officer Pradeep Tamang. The 25-year-old was killed in the line of duty Sunday while responding to a call at a Stone Mountain hotel. Take a moment to offer your condolences to his colleagues, friends and family.🙏🏻

Police Officer Senior Tamang died as a result of his injuries. Officer  Tamang joined the Gwinnett County Police Department in July 2024 and graduated from the 121st Police Academy in May 2025.

This is Gwinnett Master Police Officer David Reed. This morning, while responding to a call in Gwinnett County, MPO Reed was shot multiple times.

He’s a dad who is endlessly proud. He’s a Marine Corps Veteran. He’s a man the people around him describe as kind, steady, and deeply good.

Tonight, he’s in the hospital, and an entire community is rooting for his recovery.

Those who know him say he’s a stand-up guy. An excellent officer. Someone who shows up the same way in uniform as he does in real life, with care, integrity, and heart.

He must be devastated at the loss of his coworker, Pradeep Tamang 💔

They responded to a call together when they were both shot in an unprovoked attack. MPO Reed is in the hospital tonight and everyone is hoping for him. Praying for healing. Hoping for strength. Praying that he can return home to the people who love him most.🙏🏻

Please keep MPO David Reed close to your heart and send all of your love for his complete recovery 🙏🏻💙
