BREAKING: Murder rate drops to lowest level since 1900 across major US cities nationwide!

Murders across the U.S. dropped last year to a historic low, according to researchers, marking a dramatic turnaround after violent crime surged in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic and as left-wing leaders espoused ideas like defunding their police departments and releasing repeat offenders without bail.
The Council on Criminal Justice (CCJ) report weighed crime statistics from 40 cities that have reported monthly data for the past eight years. It found 11 of 13 crime categories dropped in 2025 compared to 2024. Nine of them dropped by 10% or more, including homicides, which saw a 21% drop.

BREAKING: Supreme Court just ordered California to respond to our Emergency Application for an Injunction. California must respond by Jan. 29.

The question will be, should the Court allow California to run the 2026 elections using the racially gerrymandered maps.

Jan 21, 26 - RIVERSIDE, CA

Anti-ICE protesters confront attendees outside of Harvest Church in Riverside during Erika Kirk’s Make Heaven Crowded Tour 2026. Riverside PD is seen in riot gear and assisted with crowd control as protesters throw water bottles at cars. Protesters were seen getting heated up with Harvest church goers as they expose alleged child abuse scandal involving Greg Laurie and Harvest Christian Fellowship, which comes as 7 more women filed lawsuits to join an existing lawsuit filed by a group of 12 men.

At the Harvest Church, Kirk cited an exchange Rachael Maddow had with Jimmy Kimmel when he asked whether the anti-ICE protests would achieve any results, in which she responded β€œYes, I do. In political science terms, there's what's called the β€˜3.5% Rule,’ which is that if you look at the authoritarian regimes of various kinds all over the world over the last century, once you have 3.5% of a population protesting nonviolently against a dictator or an authoritarian, that is essentially an unstoppable force that they can't oppose, and that precludes them from consolidating dictatorial power."

In Riverside, Erika Kirk shared her takeaway from Maddow’s exchange:
β€˜Do you think these protests are helping?’
β€œPersonally, I do not. I think it's demonic. But I understood the sentiment of what she said. She was basically saying that when you have 3.5% of the population protesting peacefully, and you're in nonviolent protest mode, it is very hard for that to go unnoticed. And it's very hard for that to be tucked back in. It just kind of sparks something, and I thought to myself, Charlie, in a way, in a healthy way… he believed deeply in the power of a faithful few that would rise up and stand for Christ, stand for the church, stand for what's good and what's beautiful in this world, and fight against evil. And it only just takes a small percentage, 3.5%."

WATCH LIVE: VP Vance delivers remarks after roundtable in Minneapolis

VP after meeting with immigration agents in Minneapolis: "One of the things I learned is that the guys behind me are doing an incredible job, and, frankly, a lot of the media is lying about the jobs they do every single day... these people are under an incredible amount of duress, an incredible amount of chaos, and because of a few very far-left agitators, a lot of these guys are unable to do their jobs without being harassed, without being doxed, and sometimes without being assaulted β€” that's totally unacceptable."

"I think so much of what’s gone wrong in Minneapolis is people not trying to understand the perspective of somebody else. Try to understand what somebody else is experiencing, whether they are a law enforcement officer or anybody in the community here in Minneapolis."

"We can do a good job of enforcing our immigration laws without the chaos, but it requires the cooperation of state and local officials."

VP explains how lack of cooperation from Democrat officials puts the public's safety at risk:

"These guys are trying to arrests sex offenders, but they're trying to do it in an environment where local officials have been told, 'Do not help them."

VP: "I do a little bit more follow-up research, and what I find is that the 5-year-old was not arrested, that his dad was an illegal alien, and when they went to arrest his illegal alien father, the father RAN... Are they supposed to let a 5-year-old child freeze to death?"

VP: "They don't want any police officer in this community, in this state, to help us do immigration enforcement... But if a protester shows up, and turns violent, We really, really need the cooperation of our local partners. It can help lower the temperature."

VP: "I do not want so many ICE officers in Minneapolis right now... but they're here not even to enforce immigration laws, but to protect the people from the rioters. That’s an absurd state of affairs, and we wouldn't need it if we had a little bit more cooperation from the Minneapolis Police Department."

VP: "We saw, in 2025, the biggest one-year drop in murders in the history of the United States of America... we're enforcing the immigration laws, and... we're enforcing our criminal laws, and putting guys who assault and murder behind bars." πŸ”₯

"We're not trying to send a political message. We're trying to enforce the law."

VP: "When there are American citizens who've been caught up in some of these enforcement operations, very often it is people who have assaulted a law enforcement officer... this is not a group going around and looking for people who violated the law based on skin color."

Warning graphic!

The Los Angeles Police Department’s Force Investigation Division is investigating an Officer-Involved Shooting that occurred in West Valley Division.

On December 8, 2025, at around 12:30 a.m., West Valley Patrol Officers responded to a radio call of an Assault with a Deadly Weapon, in the 18900 block of Sherman Way. Upon arrival, officers met a possible victim who claimed to have been shot.

As officers were speaking with the victim they heard gunfire near their location. The officers broadcasted an β€œOfficer needs Help, Shots Fired” to Communications Division. A perimeter was established which included resources from Air Support Division. The air unit directed officers to the suspect, later identified as 40-year-old Alex Canizales, who was in front of a convenience store located in the 18800 block of Sherman Way. Topanga Patrol Officers, who responded to the β€œOfficer needs Help” call, encountered Canizales armed with a handgun and an Officer-Involved Shooting occurred.

Canizales was struck by gunfire and taken into custody without further incident. Los Angeles Fire Department personnel responded to the scene and pronounced Canizales deceased.

A handgun was recovered at scene and booked as evidence. One community member (victim) sustained a superficial injury, possibly from shrapnel fired from Canizales’ handgun.

Notifications to Canizales’ next of kin were conducted by representatives from LAPD’s Family Liaison Section.
