UPDATE: After 36 days in the hospital, Officer Sean Brinson returned home today.  Sean still has a long recovery road ahead of him, but for the next few weeks, he will be able to be at home with his family.  We are eternally grateful for the care he recieved at HCA Houston Health Care - Conroe and his medical team there, and for the community support shown to Sean during this time.

DEATH OF HIGHWAY PATROL: We sadly announce the sudden off-duty death of Lead Officer Sheri Baston of the Frannie Port of Entry, a member of the Wyoming Highway Patrol since 2011.

Sheri has been the heart and soul of the Frannie port since joining in 2011. Her spirit and love for her family, friends, horses, rodeo and barrel racing will be deeply missed. Throughout her life and career, Sheri had a passion for public safety which was reflected in her dedicated work at the Frannie port. Sheri's husband shared a final message, that she loved every one of the members of WHP.

Sheri's husband also shared that she was an organ donor, and, even in her passing, she is changing—and saving—the lives of those awaiting transplants. This final act of selflessness is a powerful reflection of who Sheri was and the values she lived by.

Rest Easy Sister. Prayers for her family of blue and blood.🙏🏻

WATCH: President Donald J. Trump delivers a special address to the World Economic Forum.

President Trump calls the United States the world's "economic engine" during his remarks at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, saying that "when America booms, the entire world booms."

"My biggest surprise is I thought it would take more than a year, maybe like a year and one month," Trump said.

NEW: President Trump praises relations with Venezuela:

"Venezuela is going to do fantastically well. We appreciate all of the cooperation we've been giving. We've been given great cooperation. Once the attack ended... they said, let's make a deal. More people should do that."

"We're a great power, much greater than people even understand. I think they found that out two weeks ago in Venezuela."
