“Last night, we saw a federal law enforcement officer—he was attacked, he was ambushed. Three individuals were striking him, beating him mercilessly with shovels and sticks. He’s out of the hospital now, but he was really banged up. We’re seeing that our law enforcement officers are being spit on; vehicles are continuing to be rammed into our law enforcement. A 3,200% increase in those vehicle rammings. Just in the last five weeks alone, we’ve arrested 2,500 criminal illegal aliens off the street. That includes child rapists, murderers, an individual who is a perpetrator of human slavery, and an individual who killed his own three-month-old child. That is who our law enforcement is risking their lives to get off of America’s streets.”

On Thursday, January 15, 2026, 75 dedicated men and women sat as recruits and rose as Peace Officers after completing a rigorous 22-week training academy.

Among the graduates, 7 have honorably served in the United States Military, and 18 are following in their families footsteps of serving the public through law enforcement.

This diverse group of graduates exemplify the rich culture of the LA County community they will now serve as deputies and officers.
