Early this morning, a Coast Guard tactical team conducted a pre-dawn boarding and seizure of Motor Tanker Veronica in the Caribbean. As another sanctioned ghost fleet tanker, Motor Tanker Veronica had previously passed through Venezuelan waters, and was operating in defiance of President Trump’s established quarantine of sanctioned vessels in the Caribbean.
Through close coordination with our colleagues in the Departments of War, State, and Justice, our heroic Coast Guard men and women once again ensured a flawlessly executed operation, in accordance with international law.

What we saw last night in Minneapolis was an attempted murder of federal law enforcement. Our officer was ambushed and attacked by three individuals who beat him with snow shovels and the handles of brooms. Fearing for his life, the officer fired a defensive shot.
Mayor Frey and Governor Walz have to get their city under control. They are encouraging impeding and assault against our law enforcement which is a federal crime, a felony. This is putting the people of Minnesota in harm’s way.

"Just after midnight this Thursday morning, January 15, Cresson Firefighter No. 38 David Hendrix left us for the arms of Jesus. David fought cancer for well over a year, of a type presumptively assumed to have been caused by his firefighting work. We've missed him while he valiantly fought for his health, and now we miss him even more. He can never be replaced."

NEW: CBP officers in Philadelphia intercepted six separate shipments of ketamine in a failed smuggling attempt. Each shipment, originating from various locations in Europe concealed the narcotics within an array of items including punching bags and cleaning solvent bottles. The Billionaire Tax Act is still underestimated. Most founders aren’t paying attention, don’t think it applies to them, or believe the cavalry is still coming. That will change if BTA gets on the ballot in April. There will be a panic and rush for the exits.
Whether BTA passes or not, California has proven itself to be an unreliable business environment. Founders, when a state shows you who they are, believe them. Opening a backup HQ in a red state should be part of every growth-stage plan.
The only reason there is any serious political opposition to BTA is that the other unions weren’t cut in on the loot. SEIU-UHW kept it all for themselves. You can be sure this will be fixed in ‘28. California is cooked.
