These arrests occurred despite sanctuary politicians who RELEASE criminal illegal aliens directly from jail into Minnesota neighborhoods.

Worst of the worst arrested yesterday during Operation Metro Surge:

Francisco Salazar-Solorzano, a criminal illegal alien from El Salvador charged with assault, domestic violence, and driving under the influence of liquor.

Victor Javier Bahena-Sandoval, a criminal illegal alien from Mexico whose rap sheet includes an arrest for domestic violence and convictions for four counts of disorderly conduct and illegal re-entry.

Lorenzo Armillas Llaurado, a criminal illegal alien from Spain convicted of felony distribution of a controlled substance.

Santiago Antunes Mendiola, a criminal illegal alien from Mexico charged with battery.

Michael Opeoluwa Egbele, a criminal illegal alien from Nigeria convicted of fraud – impersonating.

Teng Houa Vang, a criminal illegal alien from Thailand convicted of domestic assault and pled guilty to terroristic threats and violation of a protection order. He was also charged with arson, peeping tom, obstructing police, trespassing, assault, drug possession, and property damage.

While the officer-involved shooting this morning is still under investigation, we’re relieved to let the Gainesville and LEO community know that the two officers who were shot have both been released from the hospital.

Please, pray for the Memphis Police officer who was critically injured in the line of duty Monday night.🙏🏻

Tennessee: Three men were taken into custody after hitting a police officer during a chase Monday night in the Parkway Village area, according to the Memphis Police Department.

Officers say on Monday, they observed a suspect vehicle, a Toyota Camry, responsible for an aggravated assault that happened on January 11. As they attempted to perform a traffic stop, the driver of the car refused to pull over, and a chase ensued.

Police said that an officer attempted to deploy stop sticks, but that the suspect’s car swerved and struck the officer.
As the Camry continued to flee from authorities, police say it eventually struck a stationary vehicle at South Perkins and American Way. The three men ran away from the car, but were later apprehended.
MPD says the officer who was hit was critically injured but is expected to recover.

JUST IN: Multiple reports of ICE involved shooting in Minneapolis tonight.

Bill Melugin: "ICE was making contact with a target who then allegedly assaulted an officer with a shovel or swung a shovel, shots were fired, and the suspect ran back to a house. No info yet on if anyone was actually shot - just that shots were fired."

UPDATE: "FOX 9 confirmed that the shooting happened in the 600 block of 24th Avenue North in Minneapolis. The call was reported at about 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. 
A source says two people were shot and are suffering from injuries that are not life-threatening. 

Minneapolis police and other law enforcement agencies were not involved in the shooting."

A solemn motorcade was held this morning to bring home the body of an Oxnard Police commander who died while attending a training event in Orange County last week.

The procession departed the Orange County Coroner’s Office in Santa Ana at approximately 11:00 a.m., escorting the body of Oxnard Police Commander Scott Aaron. The motorcade traveled north to the Conejo Mountain Funeral Home, where arrangements will be handled.

Commander Aaron served in law enforcement for more than three decades. He was in Orange County attending a training event when he failed to report as scheduled last Friday. Deputies with the Orange County Sheriff’s Department conducted a welfare check at his hotel, where he was found deceased.

Commander Aaron’s death has prompted an outpouring of support from fellow officers and agencies across Southern California.🙏🏻💙

Tennessee: An officer was injured after being hit in the head with a glass bottle in Northeast Memphis overnight, according to the Memphis Police Department.

MPD says they responded to a suspicious person call in the 2100 block of West River Trace Drive.
When officers arrived to survey the area, they said a woman attacked an officer with a glass bottle, causing injury to his head. The officer was taken to Regional One.

UPDATE: At 6:50 PM CT, federal law enforcement officers were conducting a targeted traffic stop in Minneapolis of an illegal alien from Venezuela who was released into the country by Joe Biden in 2022.

In an attempt to evade arrest, the subject fled the scene in his vehicle and crashed into a parked car. The subject then fled on foot.

The law enforcement officer caught up to the subject on foot and attempted to apprehend him when the subject began to resist and violently assault the officer. While the subject and law enforcement were in a struggle on the ground, two subjects came out of a nearby apartment and also attacked the law enforcement officer with a snow shovel and broom handle.

As the officer was being ambushed and attacked by the two individuals, the original subject got loose and began striking the officer with a shovel or broom stick.

Fearing for his life and safety as he was being ambushed by three individuals, the officer fired a defensive shot to defend his life. The initial subject was hit in the leg.

All three subjects ran back into the apartment and barricaded themselves inside.

The attacked officer and subject are both in the hospital. Both attackers are in custody.

This attack on another brave member of law enforcement took place while Minnesota’s top leaders, Governor Walz and Mayor Frey, are actively encouraging an organized resistance to ICE and federal law enforcement officers.

Their hateful rhetoric and resistance against men and women who are simply trying to do their jobs must end. Federal law enforcement officers are facing a 1,300% increase in assaults against them as they put their lives on the line to arrest criminals and lawbreakers.

Arizona: A train struck a semi truck that was stuck on the tracks near 107th Avenue and Buckeye Road. The truck driver was cited for unsafe railroad crossing.

On December 19, 2025, a suspect stole a box truck in Santa Monica, sped through West Los Angeles, and entered Beverly Hills city limits driving in a dangerous manner. Patrol units located the stolen vehicle and a pursuit ensued as the suspect maneuvered through the business district and into the north end of the city. Officers successfully performed a PIT maneuver when a safe opportunity presented itself, bringing the pursuit to a safe conclusion. The suspect ran but officers gave chase resulting in a swift apprehension.
