UPDATE: The Shoshone County Sheriff says two civilians and an officer were injured during a shooting at the Shoshone County Sheriff's Office in Wallace, Idaho. The suspect was shot and killed by police.

Shoshone County Sheriff William Eddy said during a press conference that three people were shot and injured during the incident. Two of those people were civilians on the street outside the sheriff's office, and one was an officer who entered the building while the suspect was inside. 

All three people who were shot suffered only minor injuries. Please join us in sending prayers and, or positive thoughts for their recovery🙏🏻

The sheriff says the two civilians were women sitting in a truck outside the office, and both were shot in the leg. The officer was shot in the ear. 

Sheriff Eddy says the suspect was shot and killed by officers in the lobby of the sheriff's office after a standoff. 

"This has...been a rough month," said Sheriff Eddy at the press conference. "It seems like one tragedy after another."

NEW: Metropolitan Police are investigating a shooting in Northwest D.C. that appears to have involved a drive-by near 5th Street Market, located at 1245 5th Street NW.

Police say approximately four individuals were transported to area hospitals after being struck by gunfire. Detectives remain on alert for additional victims who may arrive at hospitals on their own.

Lookout for multiple suspects who fled in a dark colored 4 door sedan.
