December 20: Updating FBI technology using AI

FBI has been working on key technology advances to keep us ahead of the game and respond to an always changing threat environment both domestically and on the world stage.

Artificial Intelligence is a key component of this. We’ve been working on an AI project to assist our investigators and analysts in the national security space - staying ahead of bad actors and adversaries who seek to do us harm.

FBI leadership implemented a technology working group led by FBI Dan Bongino to ensure our technology tools evolve with the mission.

These are investments that will pay dividends for America’s national security for decades to come.

Bringing Support to Evergreen, One Ruck at a Time

Our JCSO Special Operations Response Team completed its 7th Annual Charity Ruck March in Evergreen, and it was a powerful reminder of what teamwork and community look like.

With donations collected from across the Sheriff’s Office, the team packed their rucks and marched from Evergreen High School to Evergreen Christian Outreach to deliver supplies for local families.

The route was about 2.7 miles, and together they donated 1,936 pounds of supplies. They carried what they could in their rucksacks, ranging from 30 to 60 pounds, plus three truckloads of duffel bags that could not fit in the rucks.

For this team, the weight is not just in the rucks. It is the promise to stand with Evergreen after months of heartbreak.

Thank you to everyone who donated, packed, carried, and helped make this happen.

Retired Twin Cities MN police officer Clayton Connolly was tragically killed while helping a stranded driver on an icy roadway. Elk River Police Department  say he stepped out to assist when another vehicle struck him. The other motorists were not injured.
Clayton Connolly was a retired Brooklyn Park police officer and served the community for 20 years.
