Straight To The Point: The Case Against Comey

This week, former FBI Director Comey's legal team took their best shot at getting his criminal indictment dismissed.

The evidence released Kash Patel includes FBI 'burn bags' containing sensitive records about the Trump probes.  The evidence is credible and could prove hard to overcome if Comey's case goes to trial.

I spoke with six former FBI special agents.  Between them, they have more than 9 decades of law enforcement experience.

They said the FBI Trump probes were not done “By The Book.”

SRPD Motor Officer Injured Following Collision

On November 18, 2025, at approximately 5:38 p.m., a Motor Officer with the Santa Rosa Police Department (SRPD) advised the SRPD Communications Center that he had just been involved in an on-duty traffic collision while responding to a call for service and.

The officer was operating an SRPD BMW motorcycle northbound on Mendocino Avenue, just north of Steele Lane, when the driver of a white Subaru Outback exited a parking lot in the 2200 block of Mendocino Avenue and attempted to cross into the southbound lanes of traffic. Despite the officer’s use of emergency braking techniques, he was unable to avoid a collision with the vehicle as it passed in front of him.

The officer suffered minor injuries and was treated at a local hospital before being released.

The Subaru’s driver was uninjured, remained at the scene, and cooperated with the investigation. Alcohol and drugs do not appear to be factors in the collision. The Subaru sustained minor damage, while the motorcycle also incurred minor damage and was towed from the scene.

Praying for Eagle Pass PD Officer Benavides, who was critically injured last night.🙏🏻

Texas: A veteran Eagle Pass Police Department motorcycle officer, Juan Benavides, remains in critical condition at a San Antonio–area hospital after being struck by a vehicle while riding his motorcycle off-duty late last night near the intersection of Adams Street and Garrison Street.

According to initial reports, Officer Benavides was riding when he was hit by a vehicle, suffering severe injuries and losing consciousness. Emergency responders determined the injuries were critical and he was airlifted to a San Antonio–area hospital, where he continues to receive intensive care.

Authorities confirmed that the driver involved in the collision stopped immediately and remained on scene until police arrived, fully cooperating with the investigation. The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under review.

Officer Benavides is not only a long-serving motorcycle patrol veteran, but also a well-known community member and highly respected officer, admired for his professionalism, character, and unwavering dedication to Eagle Pass.

City officials, colleagues, and residents continue to express their support and are asking the community to keep Officer Benavides and his family in their prayers during this difficult time.
