I’m writing to share some tragic and sad news. Late last night, Officer Pete Zajac took his life. Officer Zajac was a well respected fifteen-year veteran of the Farmington Police Department, and is survived by his wife and three children. Officer Zajac spent the past two years serving as the School Resource Officer within the Farmington school district. Our entire police department family is in mourning and our hearts go out to his entire family. His presence within our department and our community as a whole will be missed. A sincere thank you to our law enforcement partners, and those in the community who have surrounded us in our time of need and those that will support us in the tough times ahead.

The NYPD sadly announced the death of Detective Alicia Stone, a 13-year veteran and loving mom of three, has died unexpectedly on October 23rd, 2025. Her husband and fellow officers are mourning her death as they await an investigation.

BREAKING: Thieves steal over 1,000 items from Oakland Museum of California.

The Oakland Museum of California says thieves made off with more than 1,000 priceless objects from its collection.

The City of Danbury Police Department, Connecticut is mourning the sudden passing of Officer Dominic Barthelemy, 39, who died unexpectedly on Oct. 23. He also served two years with NYPD and in NYS Department of Corrections and Community Supervision No further information was available.

New York: A Gloversville man injured an officer as he was being arrested last week, according to allegations filed in court.

Richard A. Hoyt III, 23, of Gloversville, is accused of headbutting the officer in the face Oct. 21 on Cayadutta Street, according to the allegations.

BREAKING: Sahara Dula, 25, who deliberately ran over NYPD Officer Ruchiran Dias to “teach him a lesson” after he wouldn’t move, was sentenced to just two years in prison by Manhattan Supreme Court Judge Melissa T. Lewis. Despite admitting she hit the officer on purpose, Dula received what many, including PBA President Patrick Hendry, criticized as a lenient sentence, noting the officer could have been killed.
