The majority of the No Kings protests have dispersed at this time and all traffic closures have been lifted. 

We had more than 100,000 people across all five boroughs peacefully exercising their first amendment rights and the NYPD made zero protest-related arrests.

UPDATE: The CHP has apparently reversed its decision to close the 5 freeway today and is re opening lanes now,

“However officials have said it would reopen and that traffic breaks would be implemented once the live fire event got underway.”

Current traffic conditions through San Clemente show little to no traffic backup at this time.

This week, in coordination with federal partners, PPB’s Narcotics and Organized Crime Unit seized approximately 52 pounds of methamphetamine, $92,800 in cash, and one firearm. This operation, resulting in two arrests, demonstrates the ongoing commitment to disrupting the trafficking of illegal substances and enhancing public safety. Due to the ongoing nature of the investigation, no further information will be released.

BREAKING OVERNIGHT: Police are investigating a break in at a multi-million dollar home in West Los Angeles.

BREAKING: The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department conducted a scheduled undercover operation last night in West Hollywood's Rainbow District in response to reports of pickpocketing and other criminal activity.

Several arrests were made.

Some community members have expressed concern that the operation was conducted by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). This is not the case; ICE was not involved.

The City of West Hollywood and the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department remain committed to ensuring public safety in our community's entertainment areas and will continue working together to maintain a safe, welcoming, and affirming environment for all.
