BREAKING: Lodi pawn shop heist linked to international crime ring.

What started as a Thursday morning response to a break-in alarm at a Lodi pawn shop unraveled what detectives believe to be part of an international crime ring where millions of dollars' worth of jewelry are at stake. 

The Sacramento County Sheriff's Office said officers with the Lodi Police Department went to Lodi Pawn and Jewelry after the break-in alarm went off. At the same time the alarm was activated, detectives with the sheriff's office were already following four people, a woman and three men. Detectives caught the four people as they were actively breaking into the pawn shop.  

Sgt. Amar Gandhi, a spokesperson for the sheriff's office, said the four are believed to be linked to an international crime ring because at least two of the people detained are Colombian nationals, with one of them owning a jewelry business in Colombia.

BREAKING: President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet in Budapest, Hungary.

"I have just concluded my telephone conversation with President Vladimir Putin, of Russia, and it was a very productive one. President Putin congratulated me and the United States on the Great Accomplishment of Peace in the Middle East, something that, he said, has been dreamed of for centuries. I actually believe that the Success in the Middle East will help in our negotiation in attaining an end to the War with Russia/Ukraine. President Putin thanked the First Lady, Melania, for her involvement with children. He was very appreciative, and said that this will continue. We also spent a great deal of time talking about Trade between Russia and the United States when the War with Ukraine is over. At the conclusion of the call, we agreed that there will be a meeting of our High Level Advisors, next week. The United States’ initial meetings will be led by Secretary of State Marco Rubio, together with various other people, to be designated. A meeting location is to be determined. President Putin and I will then meet in an agreed upon location, Budapest, Hungary, to see if we can bring this “inglorious” War, between Russia and Ukraine, to an end. President Zelenskyy and I will be meeting tomorrow, in the Oval Office, where we will discuss my conversation with President Putin, and much more. NEW: Homeland Security Task Forces are “being spun up” in all 50 states to go after criminal networks like Tren de Aragua and MS-13 according to Acting ICE Director Todd Lyons.

He says it’s a collaboration between DHS and the FBI and each task force will be specific to that state’s needs.

VIDEO: A smuggler in a blue Cadillac led TxDPS Troopers on a high-speed pursuit in Webb Co. The Trooper performed a PIT maneuver, bringing the chase to a safe stop.

The driver, Ivan Israel Rodriguez of Laredo, was arrested for evading arrest and 2 counts of smuggling of persons after Troopers found 2 illegal immigrants from Guatemala inside the vehicle. Both were referred to USBP.

BREAKING: ICE arrests illegal immigrant working as an Illinois police officer

An illegal alien from Montenegro—Radule Bojovic—was arrested after working as a sworn officer with the Hanover Park PD in Gov. Pritzker’s Illinois.

He had a badge, gun, and pension, despite it being a felony for illegal aliens to possess firearms.

ICE says Bojovic overstayed his visa in 2015 and remained in the U.S. illegally for a decade.

Assistant DHS Secretary Tricia McLaughlin saying, “Governor J.B. Pritzker doesn’t just allow violent illegal aliens to terrorize Illinois’s communities, he allows illegal aliens to work as sworn police officers. Radule Bojovic violated our nation’s laws and was living ILLEGALLY in the United States for 10 years—what kind of police department gives criminal illegal aliens badges and guns? It's a felony for aliens to even possess a firearm. A so-called law enforcement officer who is actively breaking the law… Under President Trump and Secretary Noem ICE is restoring law and order. Criminal illegal aliens have NO PLACE in our communities, especially on our police forces.”

The arrest was part of Operation Midway Blitz, launched after the death of Katie Abraham, killed by a drunk driver in the U.S. illegally.

BREAKING: Feds just announced former CA Democratic state senator's non-profit is linked to an alleged $27m scheme using homeless housing funds. 

Former state Senator Kevin Murray is the CEO of "Weingart" -- which the Feds say used  $27 million in homeless dollars to purchase a building in 2023 from an alleged criminal developer who just bought it months prior for $11m.  Feds say $16m inflation in the scheme.

The seller, L.A. developer Steven Taylor, was arrested and indicted for fraudulently acquiring the building and selling it to Weingart in a scheme.

Murray was not charged or named but the Feds say the non-profit he's a CEO of is part of an active investigation.

A USC graduate student has been arrested and charged with drugging and sexually assaulting multiple women while studying in Los Angeles. LAPD says 30-year-old Sizhe “Steven” Weng, a Chinese national, is accused of using incapacitating drugs on victims between 2021 and 2024 before assaulting them. Detectives say evidence found in his residence suggests there may be additional victims, with some possibly overseas.
