NEW: Los Angeles County declares a state of emergency in response to the ICE raids, will provide rent relief.

The LA County Board of Supervisors made the move as the Trump admin continues to ramp up the raids.

“The move allows the LA County Board of Supervisors to provide rent relief for tenants who have fallen behind as a result of the crackdown on immigrants,” the Associated Press reported.

“A local state of emergency can also funnel state money for legal aid and other services.”

Authorities in Arizona shared video of a "brave pup" being airlifted to safety after the dog was injured while out on a hike with its owner near Phoenix.

The operation was a success, officials said, and the dog was taken to an emergency vet for treatment. ❤️🐾

A law enforcement officer was shot in the arm Wednesday morning in Cleveland, Ohio.

Marshals were serving a warrant on a man wanted for felony assault at the time of the shooting.

Authorities have not released the officer’s name or further details on the circumstances leading to the incident.

There is no word on officer's condition.

UPDATE: A deputy U.S. Marshal was shot inside a home on the city’s East side Wednesday morning, and the suspect, a convicted felon, is in custody.

The deputy U.S. Marshal was transported to University Hospitals by another law enforcement vehicle before EMS arrived.

Elliott said he is in serious, but stable condition. “He is a tough individual who is going to survive. He is a warrior,” said Elliott.

“I pray for my men and woman every day of my life,” added Elliott.🙏🏻
