Christ Sues Catholic Church For Unlicensed Use Of His Image. Claiming the religion was infringing upon His personality rights, Jesus Christ, the Light of the World, sued the Catholic Church Friday for alleged unlicensed use of His image. โ€œToday, I have filed a lawsuit against the Roman Catholic Church for its unlawful appropriation of my likeness in their branding and promotional material,โ€ said Christ, who in the case of King of Kings and Lord of Lords v. Vatican will argue that He hasnโ€™t seen a cent since the Church started profiting off His image approximately 2,000 years ago. ๐Ÿคฃ #LMAO

Former Canadian Prime Minister Kim Campbell said that she wished Hurricane Dorian would make a 'direct hit' on President Trump's Mar-a-Lago club in Florida. The storm, described by Trump as potentially an 'absolute monster', could hit Florida as a category 5 hurricane with winds over 156mph on Labor Day. Campbell, who served fewer than five months as Canada's prime minister following the resignation of Brian Mulroney in 1993, said: 'I'm rooting for a direct hit on Mar a Lago!' #fools
Great white sharks have mysteriously vanished from one of their most popular hunting grounds โ€” and invading killer whales may be to blame. Orcas are the only natural predator of the great white and scientists have found proof that they are gashing them open and eating their fatty livers. Scientists speculate this may be behind the disappearance of great whites from the waters of False Bay, a celebrated hunting ground off the coast of Cape Town. Between 2010 and 2016 shark spotters recorded an average of 205 great white sightings a year in a 600 square mile section of the Atlantic Ocean. In 2018 there were only 50 and so far this year not a single one of the much-feared great white shark has been spotted.
China's paramilitary police staged a new anti-riot drill near the border of Hong Kong yesterday. The exercise was carried out just hours after Beijing sent fresh troops and armoured vehicles into the semi-autonomous city in what it called a 'routine rotation'. It comes as the Hong Kong police arrested three young pro-democracy figureheads and banned a mass rally on Saturday in an effort to control escalating unrest. Although rally organisers said they had decided to cancel the march, groups of protesters vowed to demonstrate nonetheless - raising fears for more clashes. #HK

Europe's migrant crisis continues. Authorities in Ceuta say that around 100 migrants made their way into the Spanish territory, while those in Greece said 547 - including over 240 children - arrived on dinghies today. The government in Cueta said the hundred migrants who entered today ran from the breakwater where a five mile fence meets the sea. This is the first crossing attempt in Ceuta in over a year. Meanwhile authorities on Lesbos said 13 rubber dinghies packed with migrants landed at the fishing village of Skala Sikamia. Last year over 57,000 unauthorised arrivals were made through Spain, after Italy essentially closed its borders to migrants leaving Libya. Meanwhile in Greece, Lesbos remains the main port of arrival and has since an increase of 44 percent compared to the same period last year.
