There have been very positive discussions with Hamas, and Countries from all over the World (Arab, Muslim, and everyone else) this weekend, to release the Hostages, end the War in Gaza but, more importantly, finally have long sought PEACE in the Middle East. These talks have been very successful, and proceeding rapidly. The technical teams will again meet Monday, in Egypt, to work through and clarify the final details. I am told that the first phase should be completed this week, and I am asking everyone to MOVE FAST. October begins violently in Stockton, California 🎃

In the first 4 days of the month, 5 people have been shot in 5 separate shootings. One of those shootings victimized a man and woman who were sitting in a car with a child. Another 15 year old was arrested with a gun in an unrelated incident. And another shooting struck several businesses and vehicles as a man was shot during a shoot out gunfight in one of the city’s busiest areas on Hammer and West Lanes.

4 people have also been stabbed.

Only one arrest has been made in all the incidents of violence so far.

Police have been busy in Stockton as October has begun with a literal bang.

Meanwhile community members and stakeholders holders search for ways to stem the growing violence in a year that so far has seen a big drop in crime.
