NEW: Train derails in City of Industry, California.

A train derailed in the City of Industry Thursday morning, though it appears no one was injured.

Yesterday federal agents briefly detained a person believed to be connected to a crash on Chicago’s West Side near Congress Parkway and California Avenue but released them after further investigation. The crash left a 49-year-old woman with shoulder, neck, and hip injuries after her black vehicle was struck by a white vehicle whose driver fled the scene. Chicago police said they did not coordinate with or assist federal authorities in immigration enforcement, and the crash remains under investigation.
