SEX OFFENDER ARRESTED!

9/25- In Santa Teresa, NM, a convicted sex offender attempted to sneak back into the U.S. undetected. Biometric checks revealed the Ecuadorian national has a conviction for Criminal Sexual Conduct- with a child under 14 years of age, he served 36 months in prison and was deported back in April. This sexual predator is now facing felony illegal reentry and trespassing on military property. Our presence at the border is critical in detecting and preventing entry of these criminals.

Two officers were hurt in an altercation while responding to a robbery on Tuesday in Philadelphia.

The incident happened around 3 p.m. in the area of ACE Checks Cashed at Broad Street and Roosevelt Boulevard, the outlet reported, adding that at least one officer, as well as the apparent robber, smashed through the window of the business.

Both officers were brought to the hospital and one person was taken into custody.
