This week, a deranged gunman opened fire on an ICE Dallas field office, with a clear mission to murder and terrorize ICEgov law enforcement.

DHS, under Sec. Noem, will NOT back down. We will not rest until every violent, terrorist, thug is arrested.

In Chicago, federal law enforcement is arresting dozens of cowardly anti-ICE rioters who are laying siege to an ICE facility and attempting to obstruct law enforcement.

President Trump and Sec. Noem will return LAW AND ORDER to our streets.

Russell M. Nelson, the President and Prophet of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, passed away last night at the age of 101 — He just had his birthday earlier this week! Russell was sharp and engaged in service up until the end. Our hearts and prayers are with his incredible wife, Wendy, his 10 children, 57 grandchildren, and more than 167 great-grandchildren, as well as Members of the Church all over our Country. Russell had a remarkable life, pioneering life-saving heart surgery techniques and, of course, his ministry of many decades. He was a physician, literally and spiritually, and will be greatly missed!

A Hays Police officer was killed while on duty responding to a domestic violence call Saturday night.

Hays PD says on September 27 at 10:58 p.m., police responded a report of a domestic violence situation in the 2200 block of Downing Ave.

When the responding officer arrived, the suspect shot at the officer.

The suspect was pronounced dead at the scene. The officer, who has not been identified, was taken to a hospital, but died from injuries sustained at the scene.

Hays Police said there are no additional suspects being sought in connection.

Mississippi: Sunday morning, a Stone County Sheriff’s Office deputy was injured in a shooting.

Stone County Sheriff Todd Stewart says a deputy was attempting to pick up a suspect with a misdemeanor warrant on Carl Taylor Road.

After making contact, an unrelated person in the home ran from the deputy, then opened fire, striking the deputy in the shoulder. The deputy returned fire, striking the unrelated suspect in the leg.

Both the deputy and the unrelated suspect are being taken to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.

UPDATE: Authorities have identified the gunman responsible for the deadly attack at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Grand Blanc as 40-year-old Thomas Jacob Sanford, a resident of Burton, Michigan.

Sanford, a U.S. Marine veteran who served in Iraq from 2004 to 2008, according to social media posts by his family, launched a violent assault on the congregation late Sunday morning.

Investigators say Sanford drove his Chevy Silverado into the church’s entrance before opening fire with a semi-automatic rifle on worshippers inside.

At least two people were killed and nine others wounded in the attack, with authorities warning the death toll could rise once investigators are able to fully search the building.

Hundreds of worshippers had been inside at the time.

Bill Essayli, United States Attorney for the Central District of California, commented on California's "No Secret Police Act." What it does is prohibit most law enforcement officers, including federal immigration agents, from covering their faces while on duty. While it does not take effect until Jan. 1, 2026.

He said the federal government has taken no action other than directing agencies that California has no jurisdiction over federal agencies and agents. "So they've been told to basically disregard the law," Essayli said. "It has no force or effect on the federal government."

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department extends its deepest condolences to the victims and families affected by today’s tragic shooting in Michigan.

We are actively assessing any potential threat to Los Angeles County and, we have implemented increased patrol checks to critical facilities. All patrol personnel will be briefed on the incident for situational awareness and will remain vigilant.
