DEVELOPING: A tragic and alarming situation unfolded Saturday night as authorities confirmed an active shooter incident at the Southport Yacht Basin, North Carolina.

Law enforcement agencies reported that at least three people have been confirmed dead and three others sustained injuries as a result of the attack.

Wisconsin: A Madison police officer is now in stable condition after they were involved in a serious squad crash. 

The crash happened around 2p.m. near McFarland on the 1200 Block of East Broadway. The officer was assisting an outside agency. 

According to Madison Police Department, the officer involved has serious injuries but is in stable condition. The officer and their family are requesting privacy at this time.
