NEW DETAILS: Man reportedly found with gun and a knife on him inside State Farm Stadium ahead of Charlie Kirk Memorial Sunday.  Source familiar says he presented expired law-enforcement credentials and was not allowed to be inside the stadium. 

Secret Service statement:

The U.S. Secret Service, in coordination with local law enforcement in Glendale, Arizona, is investigating an individual who was observed exhibiting suspicious behavior at State Farm Stadium. The individual was approached by Secret Service and stated during the encounter that he was a member of law enforcement and that he was armed. The individual is not a member of authorized law enforcement working the event and is currently in custody. The U.S. Secret Service and local law enforcement are investigating the circumstances as to why he was at the location.

Michigan: Officials called off Detroit’s Cass Tech vs. King High School football game Friday night at Wayne State’s Adams Field after the stadium became too crowded and brawls broke out.

Cass Tech was leading 20-0 in the third quarter when fans spilled past seating areas. Several brawls then broke out.

Authorities eventually called the game to keep everyone safe.

The game will resume Saturday at 2 p.m. without fans.
