Extremely thankful that our Trooper was not seriously injured last night in Omaha when a driver ran a red light and hit his cruiser, pushing the cruiser into a parked pickup.

The other driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries. OPD is investigating the crash.

Trooper Waters was severely injured last September when his patrol unit was struck by a driver who failed to follow the law. He survived, but his long road to recovery continues.
