Today, we honor and remember LASD Deputy Ryan Clinkunbroomer, End of Watch (EOW) September 16th, 2023.

On September 16th, 2023, Deputy Clinkunbroomer tragically lost his life in an unprovoked ambush at the intersection of Sierra Highway and Avenue Q in the city of Palmdale. While stopped at a red light in his marked patrol vehicle, he was senselessly shot and later transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Deputy Clinkunbroomer served our communities for 8 years and proudly followed in the footsteps of his father and grandfather who also served with our department. Deputy Clinkunbroomer is survived by his fiancée, siblings, parents, and grandparents. Rest in peace, Deputy Clinkunbroomer. Your service and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Screen icon and Academy Award-winning director Robert Redford has died at the age of 89.

Redford died “at his home at Sundance in the mountains of Utah — the place he loved, surrounded by those he loved,” publicist Cindi Berger said in a statement on Tuesday. No cause of death was provided. #RIP

Trooper Jerry Wayne Adamick Jr. was killed in a crash while responding to assist a San Jacinto County Sheriff's Deputy with a man with a weapon call last night.

He was a 21 year veteran (U.S. Army with several tours overseas). He had a bachelor’s degree and had graduated from the DPS Academy a little over a year ago. His wife and mother said he loved being a trooper - it was his dream job.

He died when his vehicle left the roadway, struck a tree and caught fire.
