BREAKING: An ICE officer shot and killed an illegal alien in Chicago this morning after the man resisted arrest and tried to drive his vehicle into officers which prompted an officer to fire shots at the subject according to DHS sources—He was pronounced dead on the scene.

One officer was dragged a “far distance” and sustained multiple lacerations and significant leg injuries but is in stable condition.

🔻Three thoughts:
1. It could simply someone with a concealed carry who pulled after the fact. The campus is a UT CCL compliant campus.

2. Authorities did say they had “Plain Clothed” officers in the crowd that day

3. This person should be easily identifiable. At the very least, I hope the FBI talks to, identifies, and clears him, and tells the public. If they don’t, it will only fuel speculation.

Considering his build, I would say he’s law enforcement… because it would have been fooling to run around with a weapon drawn after what just happened.

Prayers for the ICE officer who was seriously injured in the line of duty this morning🙏🏻

UPDATE: An ICE officer was severely injured in Chicago this morning after being being hit & dragged by an illegal alien who resisted arrest during targeted traffic stop & tried to run over the ICE arrest team with his vehicle. ICE shot and killed the alien as a result.

I’m told by a senior ICE source that the officer suffered lacerations and significant leg injuries but is expected to be okay.

ICE statement on who they were targeting:

“ICE officers conducted a vehicle stop to arrest Silverio Villegas-Gonzalez. He refused to follow law enforcements commands and drove his car at law enforcement officers. One of the ICE officers was hit by the car and dragged a significant distance. Fearing for his own life, the officer fired his weapon.   
 
The target of the enforcement operation was Silverio Villegas-Gonzalez, a criminal illegal alien with a history of reckless driving. He entered the country at an unknown date and time.”

NEW: A fake police officer broke into a man’s residence and handcuffed him during an apparent home invasion in Philadelphia’s Tacony neighborhood.

The incident occurred along the 6700 block of Marsden Street around 8:30 a.m. on Friday. A man inside the home told NBC10 a person who claimed to be a police officer broke into his house and handcuffed him before taping his mouth shut. The victim said the suspect then took off running.

The man was not physically injured during the incident but was visibly shaken by the ordeal.

Philadelphia police officers responded to the scene and appeared to be focused on a white jeep in the driveway. Footage from SkyForce10 also showed the responding officers placing a man in custody near the home on Marsden Street. They have not yet confirmed however if that man was involved in the home invasion.

Once a parvo-survivor puppy, Willowbrook now comforts first responders during crises like the Palisades and Eaton fires, lifts spirits at Compton Station, and appears at community events like the Rose Parade, suicide awareness walks, and the Dodgers World Series Parade.

Willowbrook is currently a finalist in the nationwide First Responder Paws Therapy Dog Award, which includes a $4,000 grant that would help expand the LASD’s volunteer therapy dog program.
