Texas: On Sunday, August 31st, around 8:30pm, Wake Village Police Department officers stopped a white SUV. The driver, a young female, was wanted for a felony probation violation. When asked to exit the vehicle, she fled the scene, striking a WVPD vehicle and causing it to catch fire. She also intentionally struck a Nash Texas Police Department unit, injuring the officer.

Thanks to quick response and teamwork, the suspect was taken into custody and charged. Bowie County Sheriff's Office,Texas Department of Public Safety , and Texarkana Texas Police Department also assisted. The officer injured has been treated and released from the hospital.
