BREAKING: Person drove vehicle into pedestrians at Kipona Festival in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

Police are on the scene of an active “police incident” on N. Front Street in Harrisburg, where the Kipona Festival was being held.

A woman at Kipona festival drove through the crowd and people say she hit a mother and son. Police got her out of the car and she appeared to be in a drug daze.

North Carolina: An assistant fire chief was shot while responding to a fire alarm call in Richmond County early this morning, according to a spokesperson for the Ellerbe Fire Department.

Authorities in Richmond County say a man is facing serious charges after allegedly opening fire on firefighters who were responding to an emergency call early Monday morning in Ellerbe.

The Ellerbe Fire Department was dispatched to a fire alarm along Green Lake Road when crews were met with gunfire upon arrival, according to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies say one firefighter was struck and later airlifted to UNC-Chapel Hill for treatment.

It is with deep sadness that the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office, California, announces the passing of our beloved K9, Zero.

K9 Zero recently experienced an unforeseen medical emergency. Despite extensive life-saving efforts, he tragically passed away while undergoing surgery.

Zero was a three-year-old Belgian Malinois from the Czech Republic. He had proudly served with Deputy McKinstry for the Sheriff’s Patrol Division since January 2024 and was cross-trained in both patrol and narcotics detection.

Our office, along with the K9 Unit, mourns the loss of K9 Zero and honors his dedication and sacrifice in service to our community.

BREAKING: Multiple people were shot near Eastern Parkway by Washington Avenue and by Classon Avenue during the West Indian American Day Parade on Monday evening, NYC.
