FINAL UPDATE for 8/26: The deputy injured today during the incident on I-95 is Lt. Rob Burgess, a 29-year member of the Harford County Sheriff’s Office and currently assigned to the Community Policing Division. He was transported to University of Maryland Shock Trauma, where he is alert and stable.

Fallen LAPD Northeast Officer Landon Dorris, who tragically passed away due to injuries sustained after being struck by the driver of a vehicle while conducting a traffic accident investigation in 2006, is remembered today through his son. Landon Dorris Jr. graduated as a U.S. Marine from the United States Marine Corps Recruit Training, carrying forward his father’s strength, courage, and commitment to service.

BREAKING UPDATE: Parents of missing baby Emmanuel charged with murder.

The mother and father of 7-month-old Emmanuel Haro, who is presumed dead, have both been charged with murder, prosecutors confirmed to Eyewitness News.

Rebecca and Jake Haro are expected to be arraigned in court Tuesday. According to the Riverside County District Attorney's office, they are also charged with making a false police report.

Rebecca is currently being held at the Robert Presley Detention Center, while Jake is being held at the Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility, according to jail records. Both are currently held without bail, the sheriff's office said.
