NEW: California Republicans sue to pause Gov. Newsom's redistricting plans.

As the fight over redistricting heats up, lawmakers in Sacramento held their first public hearing Tuesday on newly-proposed gerrymandered Congressional maps that they hope voters will approve in November.

Meanwhile, California Republicans filed an emergency petition with the State Supreme Court to delay key votes on the measure until a full review period is complete. One of those Republicans, Assemblyman Carl DeMaio joins Cher Calvin and Micah Ohlman to discuss the suit, the debate over redistricting, his citizens initiative to punish lawmakers who support the new map measure, and more.

This morning around 9 AM, a Parking Enforcement Officer happened upon a baby being resuscitated by a caregiver and neighbors on the 9000 block of Lucerne. The Parking Enforcement Officer immediately jumped on the radio to expedite help.

Within seconds, Culver City Police Officers arrived on scene and thankfully the infant was breathing again. Culver City Fire Department personnel arrived for further treatment and evaluation of the infant.

Incredible teamwork by our community, Parking Enforcement and responding officers, and Fire Department. Moments like this show how every second counts and how much we can accomplish when we work together.

And yet, Gavin Newsom’s sanctuary California gave this illegal alien who cannot speak English a Commercial Drivers License to drive an 18-wheeler.

DHS will work with USDOT to root out and prevent illegal aliens from obtaining these licenses from sanctuary jurisdictions that put American drivers and passengers in danger.

🚨 Caught on camera: This red truck dangerously passed a stopped school bus while students were crossing the road. Troopers from our Gallipolis Post later located the vehicle and cited the driver.
