NEW: A shot caller in the Whittier-based Quiet Village (QV) street gang pleaded guilty today to federal charges, including shooting a woman to death while attempting to murder a law enforcement source in Commerce in March 2022 and the attempted murder of a rival gang member in El Monte earlier that year.  Chase Carrillo, 36, a.k.a. “Sicko,” of Santa Fe Springs, the lead defendant in a 16-count superseding indictment targeting the gang, pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to violate the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act and one count of using a firearm during and in relation to a crime of violence, resulting in death. He has been in federal custody since July 2023.

Washington, D.C., has one of the Highest Rates of Crime in the World, more than many of the most violent Third World Countries. The City’s Homicide Rate is higher than places notorious for their violence, such as Mexico City, Bogota, Islamabad, and Addis Ababa — Almost ten times higher than Fallujah, Iraq. If D.C. were a State, it would have the highest Homicide Rate of any State in America. The Violent Crime Rate in D.C. has worsened, and the Murder Rate has essentially DOUBLED in just over a decade — But these are only the “official” statistics released by corrupt City Officials. The REAL numbers are many times worse. In fact, a Precinct Commander was just suspended for allegedly manipulating the Violent Crime Statistics, and the D.C. Police Union, likewise, says the real numbers are much higher. Because the Democrat Government of D.C. has largely stopped investigating, arresting, and prosecuting most Crime, the published statistics don’t even capture a fraction of the actual Violence. No one is arrested for shoplifting. Citizens living in fear have largely given up on calling the Police, instead choosing not to walk the streets after dark, essentially becoming captive prisoners in their own City. Stores lock up their merchandise behind glass walls. Gang Youth Violence is so common it goes largely unreported. Vehicle Theft in D.C. is more than three times the National Average. Schools are completely dysfunctional. Citizens are afraid to speak up or, call the Police, lest they be targeted. The REAL Crime Rates are probably five to ten times what has been reported. D.C. has been under siege from thugs and killers, but now, D.C. is back under Federal Control where it belongs. The White House is in charge. The Military and our Great Police will liberate this City, scrape away the filth, and make it safe, clean, habitable and beautiful once more!

UPDATE: Multiple agencies have responded to an area of Pittsylvania County on Wednesday evening.

Scanner traffic and social media rumors about the incident have not been confirmed. though Rep. John McGuire posted on social media, saying, “My thoughts and prayers are with the deputies who were shot in Pittsylvania County.” No police agency has yet confirmed that.

No official information has been released as of 9:15 p.m. and no agencies are yet talking, but a WDBJ7 reporter says there is a “very heavy scene at the intersection of Pittsville Road and Homestead Road in Pittsylvania County.”

Virginia State Police say authorities were attempting to serve warrants at a home on Blue Jay Lane when things "went south." One deputy was injured during the incident, but police have not specified the severity of those injuries.

Earlier, Virginia State Police, Amherst County Sheriff's Office, Campbell County Sheriff's Office, and the Hurt Volunteer Fire Department were gathered outside of Pittsville Pentacostal Holiness Church.

Alabama: A police officer was injured during an arrest near downtown Dothan Wednesday afternoon.

Officers were called to the 1100 block of Blackshear Street, behind the Piggly Wiggly on Montgomery Highway, after police say dispatch received a call about a woman getting into vehicles on a property.

Dothan Police say when responding officers tried to detain the woman, she started resisting, and one officer broke his ankle during the struggle.

During the incident, two other officers experienced “brief medical symptoms” and were evaluated by first responders. Both officers are undergoing routine medical assessments.

LATEST: Three officers were injured Wednesday during an incident in Pittsylvania County, Virginia.

Pittsylvania County Sheriff Mike Taylor said three officers went to 611 Blue Jay Lane to serve warrants and a protective order. As soon as they approached the home, officials say they were met with gunfire.

Officers reported two had been struck by shrapnel. One of those officers was taken to the ER out of caution; that officer has been released.

Officials said the officers were shaken up, but luckily, they only sustained superficial shrapnel wounds.
