A Gilbert woman has filed a federal complaint against a police officer from her east Valley town, alleging that she suffers ongoing brain damage from his excessive use of force during her arrest. Bodycam video of the arrest obtained by Phoenix New Times shows the 36-year-old woman, Samantha Glass, inebriated and resisting arrest after the officer told her she was being detained at an apartment complex. She was later convicted on related charges. 😱👮🏻♂️

Second incident video. Ade Thompson, 23 (12.03.96) of Seeley Drive, SE21 was charged on Monday, 12 August with driving whilst disqualified, driving without insurance and possession of class B drugs. He will appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on 27 August. A 47-year-old woman who was injured in the collision remains in hospital; her injuries are not life-threatening. Enquiries remain ongoing into the incident which occurred at approximately 20:15hrs on Sunday, 11 August. 👮🏻♂️

Five Philadelphia police officers have been shot in an active shooter situation, Sgt. Eric Gripp tweeted Wednesday afternoon. Gripp said at least one suspect was firing at police in the city's Tioga-Nicetown district. The officers have non life-threatening injuries, he said. Gripp warned media to stay away from the scene, as bystanders could hinder operations. A witness told ABC's Philadelphia station she heard more than 100 shots. There are reports of a standoff as police attempt to capture the gunman. "I heard so many gun shots that I got scared and I lifted my window up to see what was going on and I leapt out of the house because I was scared," the unidentified woman said on camera. 😱👮🏻♂️

Two officers who were being held hostage by a gunman inside a Philadelphia home have been rescued by SWAT members after the shooter shot six other cops with an AK-47 during a drugs raid. Philadelphia Police Sgt Eric Gripp tweeted shortly after 9.30pm that the two officers 'have been safely evacuated by PPD SWAT'. 'Suspect is still armed and inside house. Continue to avoid the area.' It's unclear if the two rescued officers were injured. Police said the six injured officers did not have life-threatening injuries and some have already been discharged the hospital. One of the officers, a father-of-two, was shot in the head, but the bullet grazed him and he's expected to survive. 👮🏻♂️
