NEW: Citrus Heights teacher accused of molesting 6 juvenile victims.

A Citrus Heights high school teacher was arrested on Thursday, accused of annoying or molesting a minor, according to the police department. Investigators said a total of six victims were identified.

EXCLUSIVE: Lawful permanent resident from Mexico with multiple child sex offenses was arrested in a multi-agency targeted enforcement operation this morning in El Paso, Texas.

He will now be processed and go before an immigration judge to face deportation.

NEW: A series of violent incidents at Five Points Correctional Facility has left multiple staff members injured and raised urgent concerns about officer safety within New York’s prison system.

Over a span of several weeks, officers at the maximum-security facility in Romulus endured two brutal inmate assaults, multiple inmate fights, the discovery of a hidden weapon, and an attack involving bodily fluids. A National Guardsman was among those injured in the chaos.

On July 2, an inmate in the Residential Mental Health Unit threw urine and feces at two officers delivering food trays. One officer was hit in the face, eyes, and mouth and was taken to Geneva General Hospital for treatment. Medical staff deemed the exposure “significant.” A second officer struck in the incident remained on duty.

That same day, a ceramic razor was discovered in another inmate’s pocket after he failed to return a plastic spork in the mess hall. The weapon was seized and the inmate faces disciplinary charges.

The Monroe Canyon Fire saw more large fire growth yesterday with the fire pushing spots across Bear Valley Road and towards Highway 24. The 24 is a priority holding feature and crews fired off the road to keep the main fire in check.

The fire is now 55,642 acres and 7% contained. Crews will continue to hold Highway 24, with possibly more tactical firing Ops later today. Relative humidities are still sitting in the single digits with temps in the high 80s.

Thanks to the subscriber who shared these views of the Fire. On the Northern side of the fire, activity is still in very steep and rugged ground, and resources are working to build and hold containment lines in more advantageous terrain. Red Flag Warnings are once again forecast in Utah today.

Earlier today, Officers observed a white truck at 5th and Wall being operated recklessly.  Officers followed the truck and found that the truck had been reported stolen. A pursuit was initiated due to the driver failing to yield. 

Due to the reckless nature, the pursuit was terminated. 

The driver left the DLTA area and entered the Newton Area where he was involved in a traffic collision. He was subsequently arrested at the scene and transported to a local hospital due to a complaint of injury.

After treatment, he will be booked into the City Jail. The driver of the other vehicle was treated at scene by LAFD paramedics and did not sustain any major injuries.

BREAKING: A person was shot and killed this morning after trying to get onto Davis-Monthan AFB.

We’re told, “A civilian was shot and fatally injured by a member of the 355th Security Forces Squadron when the individual attempted to illegally gain access to Davis-Monthan Air Force Base at approximately 2:30 a.m.
 
The individual, a non-military civilian, failed to stop and identify themselves at the base’s main gate on Craycroft Road and was reported to be driving erratically. The suspect then crashed into the deployed vehicle barrier and reversed the vehicle. Defenders from the 355 Security Forces Squadron initiated their escalation of force protocol, employing their weapon to stop the suspect.
 
‘We certainly regret the loss of life that occurred early this morning,’ said Col Jose Cabrera, 355 Wing commander. ‘Our Defenders have a very difficult job and acted in accordance with their training and policy to ensure the security of the installation and safety of our Airmen.’
 
The incident is currently under investigation. The Air Force Office of Special Investigations Detachment 217 is the lead investigative agency.”

I was just informed that our Country’s “Jobs Numbers” are being produced by a Biden Appointee, Dr. Erika McEntarfer, the Commissioner of Labor Statistics, who faked the Jobs Numbers before the Election to try and boost Kamala’s chances of Victory. This is the same Bureau of Labor Statistics that overstated the Jobs Growth in March 2024 by approximately 818,000 and, then again, right before the 2024 Presidential Election, in August and September, by 112,000. These were Records — No one can be that wrong? We need accurate Jobs Numbers. I have directed my Team to fire this Biden Political Appointee, IMMEDIATELY. She will be replaced with someone much more competent and qualified. Important numbers like this must be fair and accurate, they can’t be manipulated for political purposes. McEntarfer said there were only 73,000 Jobs added (a shock!) but, more importantly, that a major mistake was made by them, 258,000 Jobs downward, in the prior two months. Similar things happened in the first part of the year, always to the negative. The Economy is BOOMING under “TRUMP” despite a Fed that also plays games, this time with Interest Rates, where they lowered them twice, and substantially, just before the Presidential Election, I assume in the hopes of getting “Kamala” elected – How did that work out? BREAKING: A tragic shooting Friday morning shook the heart of Anaconda, Montana, where four people were reported killed at the Owl Bar on 3rd Street.

The alleged gunman, believed to be armed with an AR-15-style rifle, sparked a rapid and heavy response from law enforcement and a flood of reactions from stunned residents.

“I heard he killed four at the Owl Bar,” one person messaged. “Seven state and local police cars are circling.” Multiple witnesses and local chatter confirmed law enforcement locked down parts of the town while they attempted to locate and contain the shooter. Eyewitnesses reported sirens, street closures, and police surrounding a residence where the individual was believed to be hiding.

According to one source, “Police have the man in his house and are trying to de-escalate the situation.” Another added, “Scanner traffic says the shooter is headed to Philipsburg.”

• Avoid the vicinity of 3rd Street and Ash
• Report any relevant information to local authorities immediately

UPDATE: The Montana Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI) is leading the investigation into a shooting that took place in Anaconda at The Owl Bar at approximately 10:30 this morning. Four people have been pronounced dead, and the scene is secure. This is an active investigation, and more information will be shared when available.

Authorities are searching for a suspect who is believed to be armed west of Anaconda near Stumptown Road and Anderson Ranch Loop Road. We are asking people to please avoid the area. Any other questions about the search for a suspect need to be directed to the Anaconda Deer Lodge Police Department.
