North Carolina: There were reports of shots being fired at the Avalon Fishing Pier in Kill Devil Hills off North Carolina's Outer Banks islands on Thursday afternoon. There was a massive police and EMS response at the North Carolina island popular for fishing activities.

According to the Kill Devil Hills Police Department, one person was confirmed dead and three others were transported in critical condition to a nearby hospital.

Yesterday, we announced the arrest of over 40 pedophiles, and 7 are now on ICE holds.

Orange County believes they shouldn't transport these depraved criminals to ICE for deportation at the end of their sentences.

Chicago: Man on parole for 14-year-old’s murder sold 3 pistols to ATF agents and informants in a South Side alley.

Prosecutors say an informant working with the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives contacted Alec Chisolm-Blockton, 29, in early June and arranged to buy two pistols. Chisolm-Blockton allegedly texted the informant photos of a Springfield Hellcat priced at $700 and a Glock 48 for $800, agreeing to hold them until late June.

UPDATE: Mayor Adams has declared a Local State of Emergency for New York City, effective immediately, Thursday, July 31, 2025, due to heavy rain and flash flooding.
 
The order remains in effect through Friday, August 1, at 8 a.m.
 
Flash flooding can happen with little or no warning. Water can rise quickly, blocking roads, subways, and emergency access.
 
Immediate actions for all New Yorkers:
• Avoid all non-essential travel until Friday morning. Use public transit only if travel is unavoidable.
• If you live in a basement or flood-prone ground-floor apartment, relocate now. Do not wait for water to enter.
• NYPD precincts are open if you have no safe higher-floor or higher-ground options.
City agencies are fully mobilized to protect public safety and maintain critical operations.
• Alternate Side of the Street parking rules will be suspended on Friday, August 1, to facilitate weather operations. Parking meters will remain in effect.
