Utah: A South Ogden woman has been charged with assault on an officer for reckless driving that injured three Logan City Police officers overnight, requiring one to go to the hospital by ambulance.

Kindy Ann Viator, 37, has been charged with six counts of assault against a peace officer with a dangerous weapon, one count of failure to respond to an officer’s signal to stop — resulting in injury, one count of failure to stop at an injury accident, one count of reckless driving, and one count of failure to stop or yield.

She crashed into the two police vehicles again, and the two officers in the first vehicle sustained injuries. One officer had a wrist injury, and the other received a laceration to the head.

Finally, Viator was stopped in a fourth parking lot and struck the second police vehicle again. This crash caused both vehicles to become disabled, and the officer driving that vehicle sustained serious injuries and had to be transported to the hospital via ambulance.

Arizona: On July 17, 2025, around 7:51 p.m., a Pinal County Sheriff's Office sergeant initiated a traffic stop that led to a pursuit after the driver refused to pull over.

The suspect, identified as 46-year-old woman, committed felony flight and intentionally collided with the sergeant's vehicle. The pursuit ended when her vehicle went into a ditch, she fired at deputies. The sergeant and two deputies returned fire, striking her, who was pronounced dead at the scene. A male passenger was detained with minor injuries and later booked on a traffic warrant.

One deputy sustained non-life-threatening injuries from glass fragments and has been released from the hospital.

ICYMI: Multiple roads were blocked and two were injured in Illinois after a trail derailment spilled hazardous materials.

The train derailment happened on E 170 road near the cities of Browns and Bellmont.

According to an official with Browns Fire Department, first responders believe Sulphur and other chemicals are leaking into the air.

The mayor of Bellmont says two employees of the train company have been sent to the hospital with injuries.

Clean up is now underway.

BREAKING OVERNIGHT: A man, possibly an off-duty border Agent or CBP, was shot in the face during a robbery attempt in Fort Washington Park, NYC late Friday night.

Police say two armed suspects on a moped approached the victim and a woman around 11:50 p.m. After a brief struggle, one suspect opened fire.

The victim returned fire with his own gun before the suspects fled.
