Please, pray for the Krugerville Police officer who was seriously injured in the line of duty yesterday morning.🙏🏻

Texas: This morning's accident on US HWY 377 involved off-duty Krugerville Police Officer W. Tinkle, who was commuting home in his personal vehicle. Preliminary investigation indicates that another vehicle pulled out of a side street into the officer's path. The collision is being investigated by the Texas Department of Public Safety (Texas Highway Patrol), and any public information requests should be directed to them. Officer Tinkle sustained serious injuries and faces a lengthy recovery process. We sincerely appreciate all the thoughts and prayers for our officer. We would like to thank all the other first responders and citizens who stopped or responded to assist at the scene and those who continue to assist our officer and agency during this time.

Arkansas: A Jonesboro police officer suffered injuries in a Tuesday morning crash.

According to a desk sergeant, the crash happened shortly after 8:30 a.m. July 15 on Forest Hill Road.

The Jonesboro Police Department confirmed two vehicles, including a JPD cruiser, were involved.

An ambulance was called to the scene. No word on the severity of the injuries.

NEW: On July 9, ICE Los Angeles arrested Khshyar Amanazedi, 49, an Iranian national, who has multiple convictions including burglary, possession of controlled substance and grand theft. He is in ICE custody pending removal proceedings.

NEW: On July 10, ICE Los Angeles arrested Reyes De La Paz Gutierrez, 42, a Mexican national, who has been arrested for multiple crimes including domestic violence and possession of a controlled substance. He is in ICE custody pending removal.

Heavy rain swept across parts of the U.S. Northeast on Monday night, inundating sections of New York and New Jersey with flash flooding that stranded vehicles in roadways, closed subway lines and led to a declaration of a state of emergency.

Connecticut: On 7/11/25 at approx. 9:15 PM, Berlin police officers found a Jeep Grand Cherokee stopped at Christian Lane and Massirio Drive. Forty-year-old Christopher Criss was found passed out behind the wheel with the car in 'drive' and his foot on the brake. Attempts to wake Criss were unsuccessful and a drug overdose was suspected.

Officers forced entry and tried to remove Criss, render aid and secure the vehicle. Criss awoke and resisted officers, putting the car in reverse and ramming a patrol car. Criss then accelerated forward striking a second cruiser and sped away. Officers initiated pursuit before losing sight of the car in New Britain.

New Britain Police later spotted the Jeep at a gas station and attempted to take Criss into custody. Criss displayed similar behavior which resulted in injury to two officers as well as damage to New Britain cruisers as well as another vehicle in a residential driveway.

Criss was charged by both agencies with multiple crimes, including possession of the stolen vehicle. No Berlin officers were injured in the incident.

NEW: On July 10, ICE Los Angeles arrested Carlos Natanael Medina Arteaga, 26, a Honduran national who has a conviction for controlled substance (meth) trafficking. Medina illegally entered the U.S. and will remain in ICE custody pending removal proceedings.

In Other News: Hundreds of teens showed up in mall parking lots across the Bay Area for Friday night ragers, which ended in fights and lots of trash left behind.

The Bartow County Sheriff's Office, Georgia sadly announced the off-duty death of Lt. Andrea Crutchfield. She was 47. She dedicated over 22 years to law enforcement with the Sheriff’s Office.

NEW: ICE Denver removed Cesar Reyes-Marquez, 50, a criminal alien from Mexico. He has convictions for 2nd degree murder, attempted 2nd degree murder and assault with a deadly weapon. He was removed from the US after serving a 32 year sentence for his crimes.
