JUST IN: Bryan Kohberger has accepted a plea deal. Sources confirm the prosecution has proposed dropping the death penalty in exchange for Kohberger pleading guilty to committing the four murders and serving life, More details soon. Brian Entin
BLISTERING statement from Goncalves family on Kohberger plea
โThe death penalty is merely an illusion in the criminal justice system. When available, it serves as a bargaining tool for the State, and when rarely applied, itโs never enforced due to a highly inefficient appellate process. The notion that someone can plead guilty to a crime and still face years of appellate delays reveals a systemic failure. The Latah County Prosecutorโs Officeโs treatment of our family during this process is something I wouldnโt wish on anyone. We questioned decisions early in the investigation: why was the mayor commenting on the case? Why was the coroner speaking to families? Why was an officer with less than two yearsโ experience leading the investigation? Why was the University of Idaho involved when they declared it an isolated off-campus incident? Why was the University permitted to write a book about the incident while others were silenced under an overly broad order? As a result, we were branded adversaries. So, it was no shock how the Latah County Prosecutorโs Office mishandled the plea deal. They vaguely mentioned a possible plea on Friday, without seeking our input, and presented the plea on Sunday. Latah County should be ashamed of its Prosecutorโs Office. Four wonderful young people lost their lives, yet the victimsโ families were treated as opponents from the outset. We werenโt even called about the plea; we received an email with a letter attached. Thatโs how Latah Countyโs Prosecutorโs Office treats murder victimsโ families. Adding insult to injury, theyโre rushing the plea, giving families just one day to coordinate and appear at the courthouse for a plea on July 2. Who do they think they are? After more than two years, this is how it concludes with a secretive deal and a hurried effort to close the case without any input from the victimsโ families on the pleaโs details. Our family is frustrated right now and that will subside and we will come together as always and deal with the reality that we face moving forward. Once again we thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers!โ

The Owasso Police Department, Oklahoma reports a police officer was injured early Saturday morning after a semi-truck crashed into the back of a patrol car.
Officers were attempting to divert traffic onto the off-ramp so traffic would not interfere with firefighters fighting the rather large car fire. Unfortunately an 18 wheeler did not stop nor exit and plowed into the back of one of our officers vehicle. The officer involved was the on duty Watch Commander of the shift trying to help his troops out. The definitive cause of the collision is under investigation however there was no indication at the scene that the semi slowed or braked prior to the collision. The Watch Commander suffered minor injuries. Please join us sending thoughts and wishes for a speedy recovery to him! (Heโs more tore up about his poor truck than anything!)
The driver of the semi was unharmed, luckily.

The FAKE NEWS fails to mention that illegal alien Apoloniol Arreola-Solario fled on foot for roughly a quarter mile before agents were able to try to arrest him.
A VIOLENT MOB then began pummeling law enforcement with rocks.
One individual also assaulted agents in an attempt to prevent the arrest of Arreola while another started kicking the doors of the officerโs vehicle. All subjects were placed under arrest and transported to the Santa Ana Detention Facility.
Officers are trained to use the minimum amount of force necessary to resolve dangerous situations to prioritize the safety of the public and our officers. Officers are highly trained in de-escalation tactics and regularly receive ongoing use of force training. Federal law enforcement officers are facing an increase in assaults while carrying out enforcement operations.
Secretary Noemโs message is clear: you will not stop us or slow us down. Federal law enforcement will continue to enforce the law. And if you lay a hand on a law enforcement officer, you will be fully prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
