The previous administration lost ~300,000 unaccompanied children—many of these innocent children were trafficked and exploited. DHS is now leading efforts to conduct welfare checks on these children to ensure they are safe and not being exploited.

President Trump and Secretary Noem take the responsibility to protect children seriously and are working with law enforcement to reunite the children the Biden Administration lost.

California: On June 20 at around 10AM, Petaluma Police responded to Casa Grande High School after a groundskeeper accidentally ran over a large illegal firework with a lawnmower which triggered a powerful explosion.

Fortunately, the groundskeeper was not seriously injured—an outcome that could have been much worse especially given that he was on a gas-powered lawnmower.

The origin of the firework is still under investigation.
We would like to thank the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office Bomb Squad who responded to assist with the investigation.
