Pittsburg, California: Vandalism Suspect – Community Assistance Needed Yesterday around 5:29 PM, a witness on Davi Avenue reported seeing a Hispanic male vandalize patrol vehicles parked in the unsecured rear lot.

Surveillance footage shows the suspect—believed to be hispanic riding a silver and black bicycle and wearing a fluorescent green long-sleeve shirt. The suspect approached from Power Avenue, entered the lot, and threw large rocks at the windshields of both the MLK and Pittsburg High School Resource Patrol vehicles, causing severe damage. He then rode away northbound on Davi Avenue, possibly entering City Park.Officers have reviewed city surveillance and canvassed the area, but the suspect remains unidentified. We are asking anyone who lives nearby or was in the area to check home or business security footage around that time.

The 51st state: A Toronto police officer has been rushed to the hospital after colliding with a tractor-trailer while riding his motorcycle on Highway 403 in Mississauga Thursday afternoon.

Ontario Provincial Police Sgt. Kerry Schmidt said the crash occurred in the westbound lanes near Dundas Street around 3:15 p.m.

There is no immediate word on the extent of the officer’s injuries.

BREAKING: 'American Nightmare' rapist convicted of 1993 kidnapping in Folsom.

Matthew Muller, the man whose kidnapping and raping of a Northern California couple was highlighted in a Netflix crime documentary, has been convicted and sentenced again for kidnapping and sexual assault, according to a release from the Sacramento County District Attorney.

This time, the crimes are from 1993, when he — using a gun — threatened two young campers near Folsom Lake, forcing them out of their tent, the district attorney's office said. He tied up the male camper and carried the female away to sexually assault her. 

Muller, who was 16 at the time, later admitted to law enforcement that he committed the crimes, the DA said. He was transferred to an adult court after recently filed evidence linked Muller to the case.

Idaho: There are two new fires that have started outside Pocatello, Idaho, this is the West Clark Fire. Resources are responding including aircraft from Utah, as the Pocatello tanker base is not yet full staffed.

Last updated at 15 acres, likely larger now. It’s setting up to be a banger of a wildfire season.

A white SUV operated by a masked individual and a subsequent masked passenger pulled the vehicle onto a sidewalk in front of a business and stole an ATM machine in broad daylight about an hour ago.

Michigan: A semi truck was pulled over earlier this evening on the Southfield Freeway exit at Ford Road by multiple law enforcement agencies, including local, state, and federal officers.

Officers appeared to be conducting a possible narcotics search, with several agents inspecting the trailer and its load. The reason for the stop has not been officially confirmed.

After nearly two hours on scene, the semi was escorted by police to an undisclosed location. It’s unclear if the driver was taken into custody or what, if anything, was found inside the truck.
