EXCLUSIVE: A child sex offender and criminal illegal alien from Mexico was arrested after dragging an ICE officer 50 yards with his car in Bloomington, Minnesota, according to DHS.  During a traffic stop, Roberto Carlos Munoz-Guatemala, tried to flee law enforcement and put his car in drive while an ICE officer still had his arm inside the car, dragging the officer.

“This illegal alien has been committing violent crimes in the U.S. for nearly 15 years," Assistant DHS Secretary Tricia Ohio.

"He is a convicted child sex offender who has a rap sheet that includes an arrest for domestic assault and multiple offenses for driving offenses. His lengthy criminal rap sheet in the U.S. dates back to 2010. According to DHS, he has been arrested for domestic assault and convicted of sex crimes against an underage teenager. Additionally, he’s been convicted for driving without a valid license, and multiple charges for driving illegally. ICE first lodged a detainer on him in 2013.

Lieutenant Eddie Mays suffered a fatal heart attack while arresting a man during a domestic call on West Crumb Avenue in Bernie at 4:53 p.m.

The subject was arrested and charged with domestic assault.

Lieutenant Mays was a United States Air Force veteran and served with the Bernie Police Department, Missouri, for 30 years. He is survived by his wife, two children, and eight grandchildren.
